I mean... Its a utility thing. The context of the article of clothing is utility.

To wear it casually would just seem like a plea for individuality.

I suppose the situation would really be key. If you were a person that was working a vocation that required one it could end up being sort of your schtick. But to wear it when it isn't remotely needed seems weird in my opinion.

Kinda curious what others will say.

not only do they have giant pockets but they create a sense of easiness. It makes me feel really at ease when I talk to someone with an apron.
