post your /effay/ snowboarding outfits,
post your cop or nots,
post your w2cs,
etc etc. snowboarders get in here
cop or not? have you guys ever bought boots online? not sure i'd want to deal with an online return policy if they fit bad.
What board we all riding?
I've rocking a Forum Youngblood - last series before they were absorbed by Burton
I need new boots tho - it's fucking expensive here in Aus so i'm really not looking forward to having to buy some
i beg to differ. the color combos / unique fits you can pull off in snow gear is one of the best things about it.
old burton board i've had for probably 5 years or so lol, it's lasted a nice long time and hasnt failed me yet. still rides amazing
Salomon prospect atm just about to head out for the day actually
jake OE has a very unique style
oh i have a ton more jed actually
not sure who this is but it demonstrates a nice front blunt and the classic glacier-snowboarding t-shirt banada
dunno who this is but it's a damned nice nosepress and a cool fit
here's an interesting fit by ojo, baseball jersey (yankees?) over hoodie on top of camo pants
this is a good shot
check out the dragon 'frameless' tour. some pretty fun videos
here's another one of ojo
this one is a good example of a good headwear style.
this ones blurry but this is a classic style
he'eres a couple examples of dirty-style
the too hard is pretty chill
here is some examples of some classic snowboarding fits
plaid over hoodie
hood overtop of hat/toque
dont like this style but it's pretty unique
panama hats were very in the last 2 summers
will they survive to this summer? only time will tell
bonus post: early snowboarding fit
ok that's about all that i can find. google images is awful for snowboaring photos
above average, but still pretty bland. pants seem to fit right between skinny and baggy, which isn't necessarily negative, but makes you look like you dont really care that much about your style.
also dont wear a backpack snowborading unless you really need to. ditch it at the bottom of the lift, or in the trees. wearing a backpack is one of the biggets faux-pas of snowborading fashion.
baseball caps actually look pretty good in snowboard fits. i usually use beanies but i might have to try this.
this is great
i like the military jacket look, i was actually thinking about copping this
related to this, are there any GOAT must-watch snowboard videos in the past few years? i used to skate a lot and i remember Fully Flared and Baker 3 being insane skate videos, but for snowboarding i usually just look around on youtube for cool clips.
love the goggles color, it really stands out. rest is pretty bland
agreed, unless you're a filmer or something there's no real point to wear a backpack on the lifts
choose only one
what do you guys think about snowboard pant length? is it better to go baggy, or slim fit? if i'm in between sizes should i size up or down for the inseam?
Just got some new boots(pic related)
Kinda wanted boas, but they only had single boa in this model
And these are the boa models. I liked the look, but I've heard single boa sucks ass
i hear the lace system is atrocious
>not wanting to be a ski-bum
>>baseball caps actually look pretty good in snowboard fits. i usually use beanies but i might have to try this.
definitely. i've seen some people wear hats under helmets, but i think it looks a little lame.
>>i like the military jacket look, i was actually thinking about copping this
do it, they look really good, especially for spring
>>related to this, are there any GOAT must-watch snowboard videos in the past few years?
this year, the best one was 'rendered useless'
but normally videograss makes some of the "most /fa/"
capita's "defender's of awesome" from a couple years ago was pretty fantastic
honestly though, i don't really watch that many full-length snowborad movies, but i'll post some of my favorite edits/crew vids from the past couple years
jed andersons' crazy loco is great https://vimeo.com/112933736
yawgoons are on some nextgen shit right now https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ozin3aYrRc https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C8_jSs8_HW4
a pretty cool vaporwave-like video came out this year that i think is worth checking out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mIAVENvzCwY
johnny miller released a pretty awesome part https://vimeo.com/149924650
an OG lucas magoon filmed and released a part after having to chill-out due to brain damage for a couple years https://vimeo.com/110547392
danimals is fucking king https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9vjj5TvkRGs&index=126&list=LLa2JKopPE8vYHGqwNkhYhnQ
cody bierdsoff or some shit has a really good edit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vzTc9FhXUNI&list=LLa2JKopPE8vYHGqwNkhYhnQ&index=119
sorry if i posted too many, but i'm procrastinating really hard right now
>danimals is fucking king https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9vjj5TvkRGs&index=126&list=LLa2JKopPE8vYHGqwNkhYhnQ
holy shit, i've been waiting for someone to use a Dead Man's Bones song in a skate / snow video for such a long time. These are great, thank you
Too hard was lame
just a bunch of stale memes
>muh 90's culture
>"vaporwave is so cool rn"
snowboarding and skiing always catches onto these sort of styles too late but are oblivious to the fact that they are in fact, too late
what kind of pants would you guys recommend for a shorter guy? Most Burton inseams are like 34". I was thinking about the North Face Freedom pants which have 31" which is just about right, but they're 150 so i'm hoping i could find some cheaper, around the 100 range.
>one of the only occasions to go full techwear
>people wear all cotton outfits
Ugh this is why i hate snowboarding fits. My friends and other snowboards always try to look cool on the mountain, but they look ridiculous while trying so. Cause A: snowboarding fashion is alway lightyears behind actual fashion and B: they are always cold and all get injurys because of stupid snowboarding rules...
