This has been bothering me for a while now, I've always wondered the differences between US and UK fashion. I'd like to conduct an experiment; post your country, you're everyday outfit (I.e. Nike sneakers, Ralph Lauren polo shirt, etc) and your fashion inspiration(s).

For me it's:
UK
Adidas trainers, Pretty Green or Lyle and Scott, black jeans (slim or skinny fit) and a Pretty Green jacket.
My inspirations are The Stone Roses and Oasis
>>

Lyle and Scott is awful. Other things the UK needs to take back:

Fred Perry
Ben Sherman
Any clothing related to soccer
John Oliver
>>
>>10850712
US
>nonexistent fashion
>>
Scotland (weather is either shit or heading in that direction all day every day)

Adidas Sambas the original ones with the white front part
Cuffless adidas cottons
A band tshirt

or work boots - actual boots used for actual work
Levi jeans black or blue
Band tshirt
hoody bought from my gym or band hoodie
sometimes with black trench coat
basic black beanie

My inspirations are timeless and practical and not being overly or underly noteworthy, representing for my favourite bands and gym

i find it troubling that a brit doesnt know the difference between your and you're

US
New Balance 574s or cowboy boots
Levi's jeans or chinos
plain t-shirts or button up flannel shirts
inspo: The Dukes of Hazard, late 70s/early 870shit marathon runners
>>
US
>Flannel or corduroy shirt, Wrangler denim jacket
>Levi's jeans
>Redwing boots

UK
>Marks and Spencer frock coat
>Dark wash Pepe Jeans
>Doc Martens 1461 boots

well, looking at actually trendy places - i.e. just new york and london

in new york it seems to be that the flannel shirts, beards, man buns, raw denim and boots is in fashion still

while in london it's all about this weird kinda skater/sportswear crossover. like wearing supreme with nike tracksuits and north face and reebok classic and stuff
>>
>>10853045
comparing like brooklyn to east london here to be honest
>>
>>10853045
All the hipsters in UK look like the new york your described. It's been that way for years, definitely not a NY exclusive. Throw in shearling coats, leather backpacks and high tops you'd be closer. Only middle aged folks wear north face and uggs. Canadian Goose is where it's at. Parka jackets too.

American tailoring is weird. The men's suits are boxy in the shoulders and low in the crotch area.
>>
>>10853063
depends on the breed of hipster desu. the "shoreditch" hipster that works some lame job and is like 27+ dress like the nyc one

but like actual cool creative hackney/peckham kids dress like what i described for london
>>
>>10850712
UK

>Plaid shirt (usually Topman)
>Plain tee (H&M or Topman) or a band tee
>Black skinny fit jeans (again Topman lol)
>Black Old Skool Vans
>Optional Navy Patagonia Isthmus Parka or Levi's denim jacket
>>
>>10853045
The UK one sounds like Syrian immigrants
>>
>>10850712
UK
>docs / GATs
>black levis - 511 or 510
>undershirt
>Lad musician button up
>lad musician bomber / levis raw jacket / AA cord jacket / CDG overcoat
>>
>>10854177
yeah you do often get syrian refugees camping on Peter Street of a Thursday waiting for the drop thinking it's a food bank...
>>
>>10854444
Quads confirm Syrians are cancer.
>>
>>10850980
Why are you even on this board desu?
