Any kind of non-shitty alt/rock/punk/goth inspired stuff. Not 2004 mallcore with Tripp and shitty PVC.
>spikes and chains
That kind of shit.
So do I, but I haven't heard any other terms to describe it that don't automatically bring up memories of Hot Topic kids.
Black totally doesn't suit my orange hair color but I love the style too much to give it up.
how do you feel about nu goth, OP?
I don't hate it but its not something I'd personally wear. A lot of the key elements aren't really my thing. I'm more about a destroyed/biker kinda look.
Alt bro is a lifestyle,
As an ex Alt bro I'll fill you in
Not too bulky not too lean
Alt bro lifestyle allows a lot of eating because it's an active lifestyle
>Clothes have to fit well but they don't have to be expensive
Designer clothing is allowed but excessive branding is not (i.e vintage polo sport SnapBack leather strap ((backwards)), Hanes T shirt, Levi 501s, common project sneakers)
>where to find an alt scene
Get together with some friends and pick an urban neighborhood to gentrify for example in Georgia we chose east Atlanta dangerous enough to make you look tough but gentrified enough to know you're actually pretty safe if you get out before 3am.
>in the bar
Don't buy a drink unless it's from the hottest chick behind the bar, never forget to hit on her.
>dancing with girls in an alt club
There is no predicting the music scene at an alt club unless you know the dj the safest option is approaching a girl while the music has some sort of human rhythm and swaying your hips from side to side behind her so when things get weird you can still stay on beat.
>people will offer you cocaine for $
Don't take it unless you the guy or girl trust me. Or buy a small amount and offer it to the club promoter so you can get in for free next time.
malls don't carry altfash anymore. it's mostly thrifted, handmade, or if you have the dough, bought from indie brands online.
>tfw even the most formal of occasions will always be too informal for exquisite goth finery
let's hear it for goth hair
