Roshes are one of the few examples of a shoe that could genuinely be considered a "meme".

People joke about Stans and AF1s and whatnot but they've been staples forever regardless of whether or not they're popular on /fa/ at any given time. Roshes were a bad looking shoe that caught on as a fad due to marketing and endorsement. In twenty years no one will remember them, but people will still be wearing Stans and AF1s.

How exactly do you quantify this quality? I've used them as gym shoes for 2 years and they've held up fine, laces haven't broken. I'd honestly wish they had worn out sooner. I mean, they're made of nylon and cost 70 bucks, what are you expecting? Full grain leather?

I know it's hard to believe me, being an anonymous stranger on the internet, but fuck, I've spent a shitton of money on shoes in my life. I've tried Rick and CPs and even had a custom pair of dress shoes made. I've also owned a pair of roshe's.

And fuck, to be honest, they aren't terrible. Popular, fuck yes. Shitty quality? No. They are shoes, for fucks sake. They are actually pretty comfortable.

Do I wear them all the time? No. But at least I know what I'm talking about.

That said, anything other than all black is shit. The white soled ones are disgusting, as are all the other colorways.

Sorry; I've owned. If I like shoes, I'll buy another pair when the old ones get worn out, and resell the old pair. I typed tried because that's what I've done. I don't wear my shoes into oblivion.

I've owned just about every brand and every model of shoe and the Roshes are incredibly comfortable as long as you are just walking the streets. My feet get tired as fuck in my geos, y3s, ramones, cp's, stans, let alone leather sole dress shoes. The only problem with Roshes is that they generate a lot of static with those soles/mesh upper and I end up shocking my wife when we're walking :)
