I have a tiny tattoo I got to remind me of Albert Camus' Myth of Sisyphus. I wanted to kill myself and the essay came to me when I was in a really dark place and I started feeling better about my life. Not that aesthetic but it's nice to look down and see and think, "the struggle itself towards the heights is enough to fill a man's heart. One must imagine Sisyphus happy."

It's driving me crazy. I really want tattoos but I want something original that wont look too dated within 5-10 years and I just can't find any good ideas.

I really like black and grey realism stuff, but I can't think of anything decent. I also like bold-lined traditional-ish tattoos, but at the same time I think they look a bit messy and childish perhaps.

I just can't make my mind up, but everyday I spend at least 30 minutes looking at tattoos and trying to get ideas and it's just burning me out so much. I want to commit to a specific style so they don't look out of place.

Not to mention I hate the idea that so many plebs are getting tattoos nowadays that it's no longer that "cool" to have tattoos.
