How to dress like a teenager. Courtesy of your good friend reddit.
You really can't go wrong with this set. Guys won't make fun of you and girls won't think you're hideous. Just get a proper fit (not too large, make sure the shirt buttons don't gape or strain, pants should skim but not cling)
Let's be real, this is fine if you just want someone to tell you how to dress because you don't get it. But can that kind of person be trusted to buy the right sizes and cuts of these clothes? No.
These types of infographics don't help anyone learn to dress better.
You know I find it kind of pathetic that die hard /fa/ browsers like you are so desperate to attack Reddit. These fits are hardly teenager shit. It's pretty decent for the most part. Especially compared to the fucking Jedi core bullshit you like.
But they're a start. A jumping-off point.
As for being trusted to find the right cuts and sizes, it's called a dressing room. Preferably one with mirrors that show you what you look like from the sides and back, which is where you get your most surprising revelations about what you REALLY look like.
How to actually dress like a teenager (courtesy of someone who was a teenager less than 5 years ago)
>sperries with mid calf socks
>attempted frat core
>super baggy pants and obscenely large skate shoes
>basketball shorts in winter
>graphic tees with attempted humor
>shit from pacsun
And that's just guys. As much as what you posted seems "basic" or "bland" to people on Ukrainian Neo-classical art rating forums, this is actually nicer than 80% of the people I go to uni with. Wearing jeans, boots, and a henley literally gets me comments on my fit, don't underestimate just how bad the general public actually dresses, and how low their standards are.
TL;DR OP is pissed off and those are actually decent fits, especially as a beginner's "essentials" guide.
I agree that the people looking for this kind of advice are ready to start. I just find that the finality with which these pieces are presented won't lead anyone to learn about how to dress. As if it's like - "Welcome to the club! Here's the secret answer for how to dress!"
honestly this would be so nice if I had the money.
well rick/raf/slp/etc but you get the point.
Like too many people on here are just held back monetarily desu. A lot of us know how to dress well but can't do too good because of money.
buying everything from designer has put out and wearing that doesn't mean you know how to dress well, just that you're a tool with money. only difference between you and the new money guy wearing full Polo is that you're wearing rick/hedi's slp and he's wearing ralph
most people on /fa/ have no idea how to dress well though, hence why they mock these basic infographs like they're wrong or bad. they just know a couple of designers and if they had money they'd just spend all their money on those specific designers until the hype died and then move onto a fresher one.
