Anyone else think that only good looking manbun is the "full version", i.e hair from everywhere pulled back. In contrast to the usual one like OP's where sides and cut short and only hair from top is bunned (this way requires a lot shorter growing period and is easier to achieve obviously).

I cut hair as a side job, but like I said its hard to articulate the idea, and 100% of the time a photo and the customer speaking up will get you the haircut you want. I personally LOVE when I get pictures or input directly from the person, when they are describing what and how they want thier hair cut

so tl;dr: bring a photo and be explicit in explaining how you want it done. have it saved on your phonne, and actually describe the shape to them. Every barber will have their own "style" or method for cutting, so dont be afraid to say EXACTLY what you want, because at the end of the day, when I get done cutting, if youre happy, IM happy, because either way i get paid, if that makes sense, and i take pride in satisfaction from you.

Well, having considered it while I was gone, here's what I came up with:

You have a nice, natural curl to the hair on your head, and a good thickness. If I were you, I'd grow it out a bit, and get it cut by a barber. Discuss options with him/her, as they will likely have a good idea what works with curly hair.

Your beard is sorta interesting, but it's whispy, not very well defined and to be honest it just makes you look unclean and unkempt as it currently is. Lob it off, all of it, that'd be my choice, but if you want to make something out of it I'd invest in a beard trimmer if you don't have one already and really think about what it is you want to achieve by growing a beard. If you don't know what you're trying to achieve, it's a safe bet you're better off without it.

I don't know much about hair products, as my hair grows naturally they way I want it. Sorry.

its not a cut, its a style. 4 or 5 inches on top, 2 inches on the side it looks like. The styling gives it the look, and likely only stays in that shape for the photo.

tip for applying shine pomade or regular pomade:

Guys, what do you do with extremely stubborn hair? It's pretty thick i guess, but it just won't do ANYTHING but go straight ahead. It's like the hairs of a brush, if i try to pull it back, it'll fall back to the front immediately. I usually use wax so it atleast got a bit of a "curve" to it. pic related

Fuck me, I had a simple dream of being a grandpa with a big bushy beard. I'm not even that into the idea of maintaining a beard as a young person. I already get shit in it when I eat.

I has the same beard genes as my father, and a stache goatee combo just sort of belongs on his face with his silver/pepper hair, but he has no side beard. At least with his genes I get to have a full head of hair when I'm old.

Hey guys need some help telling the person who cuts my hair how to do it.
I like my hair longish on top with the sides shaved but every time I get it cut they cut it really short on top, no matter who I go to. I always say

But no I always end up with really short hair on top.

TLDR diffused hairloss is only temporary most the time right?

I noticed recently that my hair density was shittier than it was like a year ago, after some googling i came to the conclusion that is the beginning of diffused hair loss or telogen effluvium. Apparently it can take approximately 3 months after a major stressor or lifestyle change for your body to do lose hair, and about 3 months ago I started working out which may have caused it. It will grow back if I maintain a steady healthy diet and continue to progress slowly? I mean I like being in fit but i had really nice hair and now I'm starting to look a little bit aged which I am not too fond of.
