I read this and its actually kinda creepy/spooky. Ive never seen this kind of shrinking where the persons entire memory/timeline is constantly rewritten to match the current shrunken size. The victim doesnt even get the luxury of being terrified that they are progressively shrinking to a grain of dust becuase as far as they know, they have always been that way thier whole life. Made some shitty shit with Honey Select. First time with Honey Select and first time doing this with Honey Select. Probably not going to do anymore after this cause the maps just aren't big enough or "good" enough to use for this type of stuff. When you try to do it, it quickly becomes obvious that they were never meant to seen from high up, or zoomed out really far. They're pretty small too, even the biggest maps. incredible I didn't know there was a word for this, but yeah I know what you mean this is such a pain. Basically I just sit around for ages until the right phrase capturing the sentiment that doesn't sound stupid in english comes along. I also go over these things a fair few times generally so if I wrote something dumb the first time it doesn't tend to fall through the net after that; I think actually work would be actually be optimal in a small team of 2-3 to deal with potential errors caused by above.

I will always feel terrible for translators who get shit no matter what. If they just translate straight they get crap like this. If they localize or make things flow better they get "hurrdurr, Commie-tier, making shit up, etc."

And the best (worst) part is it's almost certainly by people who don't speak any Japanese or at the least don't bother to contribute at all for the tiny percentage that do.
