Patreon isn't a terrible idea on its own. Artists wanting to make a living or side-income from providing content to people isn't unreasonable.

The problem is that now everyone is jumping on the IF YOU WANT ANYTHING YOU GOTTA PAY, TEE-HEE FAGGOTS bandwagon. When several artists do this, you end up choosing one or two you really like or paying out the butthole.

The upside is that most artists don't abuse it. Many release works in perfectly reasonable resolutions while offering absurd wallpaper-tier resolutions for patrons, or make most of their work free while offering just a few exclusive pieces on Patreon/Enty, as Ochiko does. While it does suck knowing you don't have everything, it's certainly better than what I've seen from some. Plus, at least Ochiko doesn't stick a great big "SUPPORT ME ON ENTY!!!" graphic on every single picture like ninety percent of Western artists do now for their Patreons.

Or they could be entirely based and occasionally release everything, giving backers early access but ultimately not really denying anything to people who don't pay.

The whole point of Patreon is to support artists for what they produce. i.e. regardless of whether the Patreons themselves benefit from it.

So many artists have taken the retarded approach of closing themselves off to anyone but patreons. This is stupid for several reasons.

1) they likely only got popular by posting things for free, this is how most people become aware of them and the fan base grows.

2) Closing off the content guarantees shitty behavior from the patreons, Theft by some, and indignation from the paying members who are actually upset at the theft. (For content that used to be free and could still be free if the artist choose to make it so.)

3) the combination of points 1 and 2 means that your fan base stagnates or hemmorhages the moment you go "member only". New people aren't exposed to your content as often, or they are immediately put off by the paywall, and current members can only leave as you fail to meet their expectations of volume or quality (or the aforementioned drama created by your little club of supporters).

So I mean other than using your patreons as a shortcut to commisions or for polling for ideas for projects It's doubtful that much is gained by futile and fierce guarding of digital content on the internet.

It's a good scenario. You need to work out more background details and decide on what the focus of the plot will be.

The question of whether the tinies are shrunken people or a different race than the giant girls is very important, because it establishes the tone of their interaction.

If they're shrunken people then the gentle girl will probably treat them more like friends than like pets, and the cruel girl won't probably kill or mutilate them even if she makes their lives hell.

On the other hand, if they're some kind of "inferior race" then the gentle girl will see them like her pets, and the cruel girl will have no problem using capital punishment (or worse).

Plot-wise you could make a few of the tinies the main characters, and show most of the events through their POV as they try to adapt and survive the whims of their new rulers.

The more difficult (but potentially more rewarding) route would be the focus on the girls, and show how they change as a result of experiencing so much power. Maybe the gentle girl is overwhelmed by the responsibility of taking care of all the tinies, but eventually learns to handle it and even finds it very rewarding. On the hand, the cruel one might be simply apathetic at first, but later relish her role as a vengeful goddess.

If you choose to focus on the girls one thing you could do is have them come into conflict with each other. As they take on their roles more and more, they begin to see what the other does as wrong. They might try to take control of the whole experiment, possibly with the aid of the tinies on their side.

Cruel: Don't have her just be mean to everyone because that's boring. Have a pattern to the cruelty, preferences, that sort of thing.

1) The strong and vicious prefer the mean girl and will offer up suggestions or even participate in the cruelty to placate her.
2) Like the Stanford Prison experiment, have her begin to embrace the role of the cruel deity without realizing it at first, i.e, start with minor acts of cruelty and build up.
3) Have her be sympathetic towards someone, but act cruel towards them anyways. Or do the inverse where she clearly picks favorites and doesn't mind sometimes dumping all the evil on one pathetic sap.
4) Have her occasionally actively undermine the gentle girl by taking away food or injecting the men with libido enhancing drugs that also makes them unable to achieve release (basically forced chastity).
