The show is a prequel, and yeah. There's 6 volumes out in english, and 9 volumes in French (called "tomes," tome 10 comes out in france in a few weeks). A ripper is working on ripping english tomes 2-6 and said they'd be up later this week. You can also find tomes 7 and 8 online if you know how to read frog.

Also, if you want physical copies, you can get them on Amazon. If you like it, support the official release so we can hopefully get the rest of the tomes translated. I've spoken with one of the people at First Second about it and evidently they want to put out the rest, but they won't license the remaining tomes for american publishing rights but better sales of 1-6 would at least show them that there's a demand.

All else fails, we just need some people that can translate french to do fan-translations. Also for someone to upload Tome 9 since only 7 and 8 are available digitally.
