>Look! Up in the sky!
Hey X-anon, I just want to say thanks for undergoing this project. It's pretty rad to read all these x-men titles, I always thought they were the best super-team since I found my dad's old comics in my grandparents' house as a kid.
Sorry for the blogpost, but you the bomb for posting these.
That's an almost comical way to go.
>>93622341
No problem anon, glad you're enjoying the ride. Feels good to be back.
This and the first page are a bit of a throwback from way back when, of course.
This is kinda /d/.
>>93622341
X-Men Age of Apocalypse comics were the first Marvel comics I ever read.
Well, that wasn't very smart, was it now?
>like when Cro-Magnon man replaced the Neanderthals
Shades of Morrison?
Best Psylocke costume or best Psylocke costume?
>>93622353
The last three panels are far funnier than they have any right to be.
>>93622907
I know right, just the way the shark turns around and then the CHOMP! sound effect, it's kind of hilarious.
>>93622886
best psylocke costume. also welcome back! I didn't see the thread yesterday.
>>93622846
So easy to see how Colossus became a pin-up.
>>93622973
Ha, thanks man. Feels good to be back.
>You crazy berserker sonova--
More people need to say this to Wolverine.
>>93623096
everyone has crazy intense expressions in this, it's great
Jesus, that's a lot of sleazoids.
One of the more interesting things people often forget about the Outback era, is that the title actually became bi-monthly.
>tfw too young to have lived during the Golden Age of X-Men comics
Gee, I don't know Alison, are you?
>Dawn of BLOOD
Sounds like BvS starring Liefeld's characters.
Alex is 2 pure
>that first panel
>And you know, X-Man... what happens next!BROODED
What is this, a reasonable religious person in a X-Men comic book?!
>a Lucasfilm reject
CLAREMOOOOOOOONT
>>93623143
Silvestri was pretty cartooney before he adopted the style he's used since Image. Hard to believe the same guy here is the artist for Morrison's final arc
Superman time!
>>93623856
Does Silvestri even draw anymore?
>>93623940Hi Good Jean
This is some truly surreal shit.
>>93622139
oh man this is the issue i left off on when i last read thru Claremont. sucks i gotta go work now
fucking brood

>it's a worst girl wins episode
I like Colossus's costume in this period was just going around in underwear
>>93624145
If you've got it, flaunt it, tovarisch.
>>93622139
X-anon you're great.
>>93624145
Rogue likes it too. Last time we were with the main team she was ogling him in some 80's hot pants
>>93624167
you are making me think how weird it is people don't husbandu Colossus much. Dude's pretty great, sensitive personality, v pure.
>>93624174
It's another Villain has the hots for Storm issue
>>93624200
Aw shucks, thanks anon!
>>93624231
Are he and Domino still a thing? That was a random pairing that worked well
>>93624231
You're right desu
>>93622139
You're alive!
Love this cover
>>93622139
Hey, /co/...dat Brood Queen? Would you take one for the fate of the Earth? (or, you know...just because)?

Never change, /co/.
>>93624231
Is this a "who's the best X-Men husbando" discussion?
Oh, you poor brave fool.
Colossus hates necks!
>>93624231
it seems wrong to be lewd with him, he is too cute
>>93624663
This. You can't husbando if you can't into lewd.
Yuh-oh.
lewd
Oh noes.
>>93624663
>it seems wrong to be lewd with him, he is too cute
Explain all the women falling over themselves because of Longshot, it doesn't get much more pure than him.
>Oboyoboy!
kek
>>93622353
what the fuck, did claremont just watch jaws and had to get a shark vore fetish out of his system?
Sorry bout that, had to take a call
X-Bump
>>93625331
Yes, actually.
>The power of Christ COMPELS YOU!
Splat!
Oddly enough, this dangling plotline wouldn't be resolved until 1996!
>>93625331
Fun fact, Claremont also wrote every episode of F.R.I.E.N.D.S.
>>93625459
This scene feels very anime.
That's it for now, folks. Next time: the Evolutionary War! See y'all then!
>>93624787
>>93624851
>>93624910
REEEE STOP TAKING ILLYANA'S PLOT YOU HUSSY
>>93622886
GOAT COSTUME
>>93625635
what did he mean by this
what happened with the Malice possesing Lorna plot point?
>>93622593
I just read those last week. I want to read them again.
>>93622769
Sylvestri's collosus is bad ass. I hope these stories end up in an omni.
>>93622886
Storm has stupid hair.
>>93628353
She was going through a phase.
>>93622139
It cant, be you are suppose to be death.
>>93623157
This is why we had to legalize.
>>93626802
It's ongoing. It doesn't truly end until46 issues from now.
>>93622139
Hey, welcome back!
I didn't miss any of these, did I? Been playing Shadowrun the last few days.
>>93622228
Shit. That makes me feel like I did miss some.
Uh.. how long ago did you restart?
>>93629855
>>93629870
He started again yesterday, it's the only working link in the OP.
>>93622636
Didn't really take her long to start lusting after the nearest available Not!Scott.
What the actual fuck dude, I thought you'd given up forever.
>>93622886
I don't care for it that much, but her other costumes tend to fall into the category of "literally just 80s aerobics gear" so I guess yeah?
>>93623459
>>93623501
I am shocked that Temptress did not end up a recurring Claremont standby.
>>93623940
>>93623988
>Maddie broke it off with Scott because he was visiting Warren and that triggered her Wing envy.
>>93624321
Oh, wait, Storm's in her "suit stolen from Carol Danvers" stage now.
>>93624583
Man, really went all out naming Whiphand, didn't they?
>>93630783
That's not it, SPOILER:. Madelyne is Dark Phoenix reincarnated ..
Remember how she behaved just like that back then in that other story?
>>93625679
>high evolutionary shit
gawddammit
>>93630914
Why that wasn't Rogue who did that, I'll never understand.
>>93631062
It's crazy how it's only the unintentional villains that are the most memorable and the ones designed to be the biggest baddies are always so lame.
>>93631255
holy shit HE is a Lee/Kirby creation. would've thought a 2nd generation bullpin creation
>>93624910
I wonder what 1980s issue of Penthouse the last panel was referenced from.
>>93631525
If it was the "current" issue of when the artist began drawing then it's from between two to four months before this comic issue's release date.
But I really doubt that there was any specific one.
Artists will keep porn and body-building mags around for references.
I think Outback Era would have been improved by doing new villains rather than immediately diving back into the Brood and others we've already seen. The Reavers were a good start.
>>93622139
>Fall of the mutants
>Falling off the board
No
>>93633656
The Reavers were one of my favorite things from late period Claremont. Them and the Genoshans were awesome.
thanks OP
read bump
Catching up on the previous thread
>>93606851
>Head of a Yakuza family
>No ink
REEEEEE.
>>93641595
I can think of like four different No-Prizes for that.
So glad I got to read this. You're doing God's work OP
