Eh, he was a crooked cop working with a crime boss. Probably not deserving of being murdered, but that still falls under "bad guy." And anyways, she's not really a hero. She may think she's one, but she's more of just a mercenary or, at best, anti-hero.

In a later issue with Miles, she says "I'm the baby Punisher to your baby Spider-man" or something along those lines.

Different artists from different books. The 0 issue is a collection of the 3 back-ups from Howard the Duck and the 1 back-up from the Gwenpool Holiday Special. The former used Beyruth while the latter used Gurihiru. Likewise, the first issue uses Beyruth for the prologue and Gurihiru for the rest of the issue.

Gurihiru are the main artists for the book, but they have to use fill-in artists on occasion for the sake of hitting deadlines.

I don't see why that would be the reason. The last two issues of Gwenpool just got a lot of attention when they were storytimed and that resulted in a lot of new fans wanting to talk about it. That combined with the fact that the mexican gwenpoolshitposter had one of his bouts of extreme autism flare up again and has been on a 3 day long non-stop shitposting bender.
