Sooo...who came away from Deadpool with a new waifu?
Let's discuss. Oh and...
Happy Women's Day
>Ryan as Deadpool is fantastic
>the supporting cast is perfect
>lack of Waypool, hard Kellypool
>decent and creative use of violence and sex
>nice and coherent action
>needed a bit less 4th wall breaking
>many ass and dick jokes
>needed a bit more seriousness
Overall 8/10, would watch again and again
>needed a bit more seriousness
>When it's a Deadpool Movie.
My man. You fucking kidding? I mean, I agree wholeheartedly with you on the unnecessary dick jokes and cussing, but it was more than serious enough. To the point where that last part with Wade and Vanessa kinda felt out of place after such an eventful last fight.
Let's be honest here. Most people who went to see the movie expected Waypool because that's all they've been subjected to. I think they needed to add a little more humour than necessary to keep them hooked.
Now that they know his actual backstory and have a connection with the character, maybe they can play up the seriousness and emotions in the sequel.
What are the odds that the sequel will have a huge budget, so executives make a checklist of things for the script to hit that ultimately ruins what made the first movie charming?
What are the odds that DC makes a Deathstroke movie in damage control mode that flops big time because they don't understand what makes Deadpool or Deathstroke popular and ends up not really hitting the liked characteristics of either character?
What are the odds that Disney makes their own R-rated super hero movie?
What are the odds that R-rated action movie are revived?
I sure did, familio
Superhero movies only need 150-200 million nowadays, I doubt Fox would give them more than that, even with a successful first film. I get the sense that Fox will just let Reynolds run Deadpool considering how badly they fucked up in Origins.
Depending on how successful Suicide Squad is, I could see him getting added to the roster, or at least a spot in one of the movies. I doubt he'd get his own film though.
They have no need to deviate from their formula of PG-13 movies. Though, they did let Netflix make Daredevil and Jessica Jones which I'd say had more than a few R moments.
>R-rated action movies
God I hope so.
Yeas. Sucks she won't get much play in Singer movies since she's not a twink.
I dunno, like obscure knowledge or references to other things. I've read a couple DP arcs before but I'm not an authority on him.
Oh Bob makes an appearance? That's good.
I completely forgot she was in Firefly. DESU I never really got all the hype. I mean it wasn't bad or anything, I just don't get why people freak out over it.
Still like Nathon Fillon though, hope he keeps getting good VA work.
What was the Lent gag again? I remember laughing at all the gags, but I don't specifically remember that one.
I do remember the OP though.
But that's because I have a pegging fetish
They're having a bunch of rough sex in all the montage shots. Then it cuts to them sitting in arm chairs, fully clothed and reading books. Wade says "Happy lent", and Vanessa blows a kiss.
They gave up sex for lent.
>Is it sexist for me to kill you?
What did he mean by this?
He was mocking the politically correct culture. He's wondering if it's sexist to kill them because then he's hurting women, or if it's sexist to spare them because then he's not giving them treatment equal to the treatment of the men he's fought.
>Met and loved her at V
>Saw her titts in homeland
>Hated her in Gotham
Man its like she's my wife and we got divorced and then I see her fucking another guy in deadpool and feel bad about it
>tfw she'll never say your face is worthy for her to sit on
>tfw life is just a horrible and tragic program only interrupted by a few commercial breaks of happiness
Does anybody have the reaction image of Freckle from Lackadaisy where he's drunk and goes "Leeeeeggggsss"?
I'd post it but my computer decided to shit the bed. Also leeeeeegggggsssss
