Besides...tons of them are still on the air even if they're re runs and there are a couple currently running, I don't see this massive lack of action toons that people always talk about now that I'm thinking about it, you're probably just thinking about one or two shows that you specifically watched, not the genre as a whole

Yeah, XD has all the Marvel shows...Nick has TMNT, CN has Transformers RID and do they still air any of the Batman shit? Last time I watched CN they were still airing some Batman show, Discovery Family airs Transformers Prime still as well as reruns of G1 and G.I Joe

I don't know if I'd call SU and AT "action" shows straight up, they do have action in them but I think to classify as an action cartoon action needs to be the primary element of a show, not just one of many

I can not bring myself to feel bad about Sym-Bionic Titan, I'm always down for Genndy's brand of action, but the plot was such a generic slog and the anime tropes were cranked to 11, just couldn't get into it, even though I really wanted to because I knew if it failed it would spell doom for this type of show for the foreseeable future.
