I know it's not apart of the big two, but this deserves a storytime.
Nowhere Men #7
OP appears to have died, so I'll finish this up.
Yeah. IIRC, the artist fell into a major depressive episode and was struggling to complete the issues.
I remember reading this back when it wasn't on hiatus. Could never get into it and had a really hard time fallowing what was going. All I remember was tons of world build via flashbacks a faux news article. I dropped it right before it went on an indefinite hiatus
It's been so long I have no idea what the previous issues were about. Something about mad science monsters and immortality and the Beatles and spaceships or something
I think I'm just going to read it when it's all out.
I enjoyed the fuck out of this. I had really high hopes for where this story was going. This is obviously a real slow burner story, that could have some real depth to it and Stephenson has to go all "Waa waa. I'm too depressed to write"
You write comic books for a living motherfucker, for fucks sake. Then we got that abomination that was They are not like us.
God damn it Stephenson. Get back to writing this brilliant comic you fucker.
Alright, good enough.
If I disappear again, it's because I have to resize some of the spreads.
Nope, the trade goes to 6.
And that's that. Hope you all enjoyed it.
Thank you for finishing the storytime, anon. I really dropped the ball when I realized I was gonna be busy as soon as I started posting. I really appreciate it.
Thanks for spreading the word about this book! Hopefully it makes a small difference to keep it afloat past issue 12!
Not a problem, man. It's Image, so there's no worry about cancellation from low sales; what I'm interested in seeing is if they can build back up the hype they had before the delays. That's probably what'll determine if there will be more.
