I'm wondering if Babswank is the only thing strong enough to stop the Damianwank.
Or if both wanking will result in the two fucking so Barbara's bicycleness in all media will be complete.
>DCAU ostensibly using Nu52 stuff
>asks why Nu52 babs might be in it
Why? Are we supposed to be surprised? Are we supposed to cry "TUMBLR TUMBLR" when a series of animated films based on the Nu52 use Nu52 stuff?
Quite frankly so long as the story is good, or at least enjoyable, I don't care. And I certainly wouldn't want to speculate that whatever story they do with babs will be fucking awful given that all we know about it so far is that, surprise to no one, they are using the Nu52 design.
Is their track record great? Far from it. But I'm not going to cry all is lost over a character design that is quite frankly, in the grand scheme of all things comics, not even THAT bad.
Nothing necessarily wrong with using the current Batgirl design. All these NooFiddyToo-inspired DTVs seem to have ugly animation and I haven't been very motivated to watch them, tho.
Hopefully with Bruce Timm being back on the DCUOAMs, we can get some more Timm-esque stuff in addition to this line.
Granted, Bat girl has always had her long hair out for easy grabbing by enemies but I don't know, If I was wearing a cowl like helmet of the batman fabric/rigid plastic armor variety, I'd like my ears covered, plus I though the bar ears were meant to house comms?
Yeah her boots are kind of shit looking and could be dangerous.
given how they were going for denim work jacket or leather biker jacket down to earth realistic super hero outfit, it would make sense then that she would be wearing minimalist combat boots...but of course in her banana yellow color instead of desert FDE.
Looks more like something Hit-Girl would wear with an added bat mask.
Should've gone with the Arkham Knight DLC design.
I'm the one who made the pic. My photoshop skills aren't that good. (Especially when every different image has different dimensions and it was a bitch to make).
I said I tried the first time.
I meant the AK one. It was just Tarr pre-redesign New52 Babs.
Also IMO Babs isn't tied too tightly to Bruce like the Robins are, she goes off and does her own thing pretty damn regularly so her costume having its own distinct style is fine.
Looks more like they took Batwoman's design and gave her a different mask if you ask me.
I don't think you understand what that anon is saying, pal. That is just her first New 52 costume.
Because they pretty much rebooted the book.
Simone's run was a a dark depressing book that was always crying about "MUH LEGS" and le edgy killerz for teh lulz
Stewart and Fletcher soft rebooted the book into a book for young adults that wasn't depressing as fuck and had her go on adventures that weren't drenched in angst. She also moved to the hip part of Gotham and is a student
She's meant to be a student
>Simone's run was a a dark depressing book that was always crying about "MUH LEGS" and le edgy killerz for teh lulz
She mostly wrote it that way because she loved Babs more when she was Oracle and was basically forced to write her as Batgirl again.

I'm really wondering why there was this insane need to bring her back as Batgirl?
You'd think with the Arkham games sticking to Oracle, and those making Batman even more popular with the non-regular comic fans, you'd think it would have been more profitable to have her stay Oracle.
Still the people that know her as Batgirl are, what, hitting their 30s now?
The kids they try to sell her knew her as Oracle first and foremost and some of her promiment appearances in the comics were as Oracle and not Batgirl.
But I guess that's what we'll have Felicity in the future if what they say over in the Arrow threads is true (I don't really read Green Arrow)
Kids who watched The New Batman Adventures in 1997 are in their twenties.
Kids who watched The Batman in 2005 are in high school and college.
Kids who watched Young Justice in 2010 are still kids or teens.
That's not even considering reruns.
>Quite frankly so long as the story is good, or at least enjoyable, I don't care.
Well then shit is already fucked, none of the Nu52 animated movies have been good and I have yet to see anything that would suggest that's going to change any time soon. The best I can say about them is that they have some pretty well animated fight sequences.
