I was digging through my phone and found pastebins that I had bookmarked in July:
Continuation by another Anon http://pastebin.com/1YCqbqiq
It really sucks that we'll never see these get finished, but I would like to see someone try.
Alt Bing Bong scene
Another great thing that will never be finished
I believe a sequel is indeed inevitable due to all of stuff at the end of the movie.
I'm just going to leave this here
also joy is the best
This is a thread about a Pixar movie. But yes, I want a WIR sequel too.
Inside Out is Pixar's best film to date. I think a sequel done with care could be fantastic, but it doesn't need one. It does lend itself more to a sequel (ie, seeing Riley grow up) more than other Pixar movies, however, like Up or Wall-E.
>Riley meets a boy she likes.
>Light lights up
>Boy alarm goes off
>Joy shouts "No one panic! I've got this!"
>Joy immediately start to try to impress said boy.
>Fear tries to intervene
>Disgust tries to intervene
>Joy, Fear, and Disgust fighting over control.
>Sadness in the background cracking her knuckles knowing she's going to have to take over soon.
It was a successful Pixar film. Of course it will get a sequel. However...
This is also true. With how long Pixar takes to get around to making said sequels, it'll be at least another decade before any of us see it.
It's an alarm...
What intrigues you the most about an hypothetical sequel to IO? Would it be interesting to explore the mind of a teenaged Riley, or would it just end up being a load of young culture/pop references shit and clichés about "that awkward puberty age"?
It's a pity because a lot of boys wouldn't have minded those lips
And that nose unf.
Do you think she gives nosejobs?
Most of the construction side and autonomous processes are handled by mind workers and the structures they fabricate as Riley grows. They are her biological processes.
The emotions, to a certain extent, represent her psychology.
Don't confuse the two.
>"You are the best person I have ever spent time with."
How would a neko Joy act? Would she pounce on the other emotions instead of hugging them? Would she use Fear as a scratching post? Would she lay on Sadness' lap and purr? Would she take naps on Anger's head? Would she be dressed up and groomed by Disgust?
>"It's our birthday Sadness, and I have your present right here."
But according to this, she's 19, but ok.
>Riley gets into a toxic and abusive relationship
>Joy wants to stay in it because she desperately wants to keep everything as happy as they were when they first started dating
>Everyone else fights against it but can't put up too much of a fight as they all get manipulated by significant other's emotions
>Fear doesn't wanna be alone
>Disgust looks at all the other options Riley has and thinks they're all worthless
>Sadness is pretty much running the shit now
>Anger hates the SO completely but can't overrule the others
>Everything starts to fragment and stutter as they try and keep everything running despite it all being toxic.
Shit writes itself, though I Don't imagine it would have any emotionally resonant moments like Bing Bong it could still do well enough.
We shouldn't let the fact that some movies and franchises getting milked to death keep a good movie that has still has a good milking left to go.... I think I lost track of this metaphor...
But yea.. This series could stand a sequel, maybe not two, but a single one wouldn't be bad.
>ITT the most autism I've ever seen in my life
Congratulations, /co/, this thread and /v/ have finally convinced me to leave this shithole.
I can't thank you enough. Hope you all burn in hell.
Clearly you've never looked in a mirror then.
The best way to do a sequel with a movie like this is just have a spiritual successor and not a direct sequel.
I know this is disney where talking about but what I would like to see is someone who's a little more than the average girl. Riley was kind of average in every way. Maybe a kid who's not very popular and has a rough life overall. Maybe even someone who deals with domestic abuse. I mean what I'd really want is the exploration of the mind of an adult but that would never happen because disney would have to deal with adult themes like sexuality.
I think the coolest thing to do would be to go through the mind of a child victim of domestic abuse. You usually see these perfect family figures in disney movies and it would be nice to break away from the norm, plus it takes a page from real life connecting it to the audience. Hell it could even come packed with a positive message all the while being fun to watch. But I guess that would be too sad.
DONT OPEN THE SPOILER
DONT DO IT
Have a screenshot while I'm working on yours
>"Please Joy, just one more ride on that Sunny D." >"No Sadness, you already had 12."
I hate that they keep teasing up with those near upskirts on Joy
>Joy wipes her tears
>"That was a great movie..."
>Joy wipes her tears
>"Alright, plan B."
>"Yes. Time to break out the dragon dildos and masturbate all night long!"
>The others cheer
Thread needs more Riley!
No, it needs more Joynesgust :^)
