why is it that all batman movies have warehouses, jesus this is worst than shenmue
nobody has the damn thing, f4m
>No one posts How It Should Have Ended Parody Song Bat Blood
I am dissapointed
When one of you guys finally have it, would you be willing to set up a stream for everyone to watch together? Or is that shit now suddenly frowned upon around here?
>Batman: Bad Blood today
>Lego Justice League: Cosmic Clash in a couple of weeks
>Justice League vs. Teen Titans later this year
>Killing Joke adaption by Bruce Timm later this year
Feels good, man.
>The Killing Joke
I am so fucking excited and worried for this. Bruce Timm helming it gives me a lot of hope though, I hope he came up with some nice designs that mix Bolland's style and BTAS.
>The Killing Joke
I, for one, CANNOT WAIT for
1) DID THE JOKER RAPE BARBRA GORDON? threads and the SJW fallout
2) WHAT DID HE MEAN BY THIS threads with the final joke about the flashlight
It is going to be a goddamn third grade classroom at the retard farm in here for a month.
why can't the americans integreate the characters better with the surroundings? we see japanese fight scenes that are amazing, take saitama vs genos for example, the characters fight in a well elaborated tridimensional way. And then you get american cartoons and their shitty kicks and punches. WTF! it's like they don't even try
>it keeps switching between a few hours and a few days
I've made it up to two weeks now... is this bad?
DID SOMEONE SAY HAMBOIGAHS?
And old memes?
I think on some level I like his Batman, in that it sounds like the really dispossessed, "I've seen some shit" tone that I sometimes find myself reading Batman in, but he doesn't really work at all when it comes to switching between the Bruce Wayne and Batman personae.
>madhouse being good
>still haven't honored the final wishes of one of their leading movie directors, five years after he passed away, to finish his final movie without him.
don't get me wrong, madhouse is great with the projects they take on and don't sell out as hard to the otakus. but the excuses they make to keep postponing Dream Machine are bullshit
From the trailers it seems to be a weird Frankenstein's monster of Elegy, Dickbats and Robin, Batman Inc, Battle for the Cowl, and the promotional team said they were inspired by RIP.
I don't come to /co/ very often, I just enjoy all DC animated movies, even more than the shitty real life marvel ones, and I saw it pop on my RSS so I decided to make the thread.
I STILL HAVE 20 MINUTES TILL IT'S DOWNLOADED!!!
I HATE ALL OF YOU!
nobody on this board likes these movies.
I'll probably hate it too but I hate batman all together. wish they'd just focus on making the justice league 52 movies. I did like arkham asylum though.
You're too slow by about a decade, anon.
She's also Jewish.
>not knowing Batwoman is a dyke
That's like not knowing Supermans secret identity is Clark Kent
Well Starfire phones Dick at one point in Bad Blood and she pretty much says
>Dick I want some fuck, like right now
before going off to be Batman
So look forward to some sexy Dick in JL vs TT
Well current DCEU rumors are that Cyborgs film maybe replaced with a Titans film and seeing as Assault on Arkham was proof of concept for Suicide Squad they might be doing the same here
They've just got a filled schedule right now really with Bad Blood, Jl vs TT and then Killing Joke.
Also Forever Evil probably won't get adapted since they've already done Crisis on Two Earths, even if it isn't N52
their plans with the movies is fucking stupid. Whty do i want to see reworked fanfiction and adaptations of newer, mediocre stuff. I want to see classic stories animated. Where's my Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow? Where's Longbow Hunters? Where's Cataclysm?
>Where's Longbow Hunters
Aw fuck, you just made me want something I never knew I wanted.
Get Neal McDonough on it for the VA work again and get it done by GAs 75th, pls DC
He's been shit in the past two movies, what do you expect.
The only thing he has going for him here is Kori banging him all the time, and even then her character design for these movies is terrible.
Do the Batman animated movies even make good money? Like, I know they're only making them for the casuals and Batfags, but got damn I wished they made movies for other characters too. Or at least put more effort into these movies.
I only really have hopes for killing joke and lego justice league, primarily the first because of Timm returning, the latter because Lego actually does good with humor and funny stuff.
The Mad Hatter goes full fucking Oddjob on two security guards.
Holy fuck all the BAD ENDS for the villains in this movie.
Just when i think they're going to give us
Martian Manhunter and/or Justice Leaguein the next movie, pic related happens.
In a way this is like a Justice League movie with a severely neutered Batman family
In any case Batman meets Batwoman they fight some dudes
Batman saves Batwoman but gets BTFO doing it
everyone assumes he's dead after awhile
Dick takes over for Bruce as Batman
brings in batwoman and batwing to save bruce(surprise he's alive)
Then they all come together to take down the main baddie
This makes me sad that we don't get enough Killer Moth. Didn't even get an Arkham appearence. And I mean the low budget batman for hire, not the weird mutant
Nope its legit and it makes no fucking sense
You know I think the people who made this movie aren't aware that Bruce and Kate are family
Seems odd as hell to see Bruce say family only and its meant to exclude her
This movie is easily better than Batman vs Robin and son of batman
easily the best of the new 52 animation movies but sadly its got a lot of flaws too
I'm mostly happy because we now have a batman family(minus jason and tim)
Now all they need to do now is introduce Joker and we might have some decent movies I'm tired of this LOA bullshit
All three of them died.
Tetch's was the worst though, my god.
>Implying they weren't totally nunjas.
These movies are getting some pretty good fight choreography.
He's basically the main character and has some good quips
I mean he kicks ass as Batman but he also has his whiny moments and for some reason he looks like a guido out of costume
In any case Dick gets a passing grade from me
Batwoman,Dick, and Batwing are the best parts of an otherwise generic batman movie
I really wish Damian didn't exist so we could get a good robin like Tim his YJ design would be perfect for this
Is it my idea or most of us are almost in the same place and watching it in the same time?
Yeah CHoreography is good.
"Hey look at me! I'm showing my style" boulder falls...
They confirmed that a while back Tim doesn't exist in this universe yet. The reason they did Batwing and Batwoman in this was so they could diversify the Batfamily past setting up 4 Robins and a Batgirl
He sort of is the main character, but gets his screen time cut out because every other unnecessary Batfam member, maybe if they would have just Kate, but Luscious son is too much
Sad this, costume was wasted.
>it's actually real
it's like they actually want to fuck their business in the ass
Throne of Atlantis isn't as good as the comic and that's the least of its problems, you may enjoy it if you like everyone jobbing to make Batman look better.
>I hated Son of Batman so I hope you're right when you say Batman vs Robin is alright
I rather enjoyed Son of Batman but Batman vs Robin is a lot better, it's better than Bad Blood too i think.
but that's wrong you stupid fucking retard
When Damien made that comment about Dick being glad Bruce was gone and he pulled the Batmobile over, I thought we were actually going to have a scene of Dick basically saying that for all the shit he talks about Batman, the man was still basically his father. But nope, we just got him whining more about Batman. Fucking hell.
>he doesn't find the idea of meeting Batgirl after a night of beating up criminals in her tight leather jacket, with her unzipping it and being glistened in sweat due to the hot leather sexy
>aside from the open eyes, the short cape and the colour scheme
so....you're saying it has no recognisable or interesting features aside from these three recongnisable and interesting features?
Reminder that you can all let DeMatteis know what you thought of the movie in the comments of
Ask nicely about the next one and maybe he'll give us spy Grayson!
I agree but I liked Dick and Kate and I felt they had decent enough chemistry.
this was better than any right it had to be.
Still, Oliva's Batman projects leave much to be desired.
Batwing seemed pointless. Could have used Tim instead. Last twelve minutes were better than everything prior.
It really faffed around a lot when it could have been supporting the family theme better. Maybe I'm wrong but it seems like Capeshit is the kind of place where you can be too subtle. Many of people's favorite moments are characters eloquently monologuing insightfully about their worldview and how it relates to what they're about to do.
If it was forty minutes long it might have been fine but at 112, it needed something better than what Dick said to break Batman out of the mind control. There was no insight or eloquence.
>Could have used Tim instead
Except Tim isn't black.
Bad Blood is essentially "fuck we have to diversify the Batfam as opposed to havin 5 white guys"
A black guy
A young white guy
An old white guy
A white/arabic kid
A female student
>open up pirate bay

>Deadpool 2015 720p BrRip x264 - iFT
>what the fuck

>over 12k Seeds
>only uploaded today
Is this some kind of fake or something?
It was okay, better than the last two. The ensemble direction wasn't bad, but some parts worked much better than others. Dick and Kate were the most interesting characters. Luke was okay. Damian was insufferable. The random collection of villains was kind of dumb, and served no purpose other than to give everyone someone to fight. And all of the accidental deaths were really contrived.
Gleason usually draws him as being more ethnic. Other artists don't, though.
Doyle said a while back that they're going to start colouring Damian browner to reflect his Arabic roots. Hell just compare Talia's first appearance in R:SoB to her final and you can see how brown she gets
Wow! So all the villains except Black Mask die? I mean, I get why. Most of these guys knew his secret identity now, but still... Never thought I'd see Mad Hatter get killed off. Or Killer Moth. He's practically harmless.
>Using Hatter tech for a low budget version of the Command D Memory Machine
So is this the New 52 version of Bruce's "death"
When did people actually get on board with the idea of there being like 6+ bat people running around Gotham? I still think it's fucking stupid and can't get into anything post Morrison. Jesus Christ.
It's the kind of divide you have to commit yourself to either one side or the other. Spider-Man gets it too.
I'd say the cut-off point is roughly three. If you have more than three characters with the same theme running around, you have to either kill some off, or go full Batman Inc./Spider-Verse
They finally cracked into low tier. God, the people working on these new DC films just need to be replaced.
>When did people actually get on board with the idea of there being like 6+ bat people running around Gotham?
Morrison's run. Prior to that there weren't that many Bat-people operating in Gotham. The Bat-family consisted of Batman, Nightwing, Robin, Red Hood, Oracle, Catwoman, and Batgirl. Nightwing was in Bludhaven, Red Hood didn't have a set base of operations, Robin was in San Francisco, Batgirl was chasing the LoA, and Oracle was travelling with the BoP. Batwoman isn't actually a member of the Bat family, she just treats the emblem like a badge.
>The rest of the Family is fighting Crime Lords in Gotham, dealing with the rise of a new Batgirl, and trying to help Gordon
>Azrael is dealing with some demon cult with edgy dialogue that no one cares about
>any non-DCAU dtv besides Under The Hood or Crisis on Two Earths beyond mid tier
All-Star Superman is borderline offensive as an adaptation.
I think if anything having a bunch of Bat-related people running around at the same time makes sense considering they're all associated with each other. They could be like coworkers running different shifts.
Yeah, Babs, Tim, and Dick all know each other and work together, with Tim being the apprentice, and Babs being the secretary/assistant to the boss. Dick is the office slut. Helena is the outsider who has unique relationships with each of them, and wants to help, but has philosophical differences. Cass is the new girl who earned Babs's trust.
Then you have Azrael, who's basically in a cubicle elsewhere, that everyone thought got fired, except that he keeps showing up to the Christmas parties.
McDuffie was a god tier writer, but All-Star was just bad.
Structurally, ASS doesn't work in a 60 minute format. Everything comes off as non-sensical, but not in a charming, Brave & The Bold kinda way.
>Whty do i want to see reworked fanfiction and adaptations of newer, mediocre stuff.
WB's going to shove the Nu52 down your throat until you like it and forget pre-Flashpoint ever existed, anon.
>Gods and Monsters not Mid Tier
>TDKR not Mid Tier
>Emerald Knights not in Mid Tier
>Superman/Shazam not in High Tier
>Wonder Woman not in High Tier
>Flashpoint not in High Tier
>Spectre not in God Tier
All-Star not in Low Tier
You didn't fix a damned thing.
Solid 8/10 felt like a good episode in this series and can't wait for the next episode
Saw lex and waller at the wayne summit was Wondering what other cameos I missed also was that a prototype for the watchtower?
For now. You feel like you're pushing some sort of agenda here, and I don't have time to talk about it. Just know that the minute women see something trivial they don't like, they will ALL jump ship, and sales will plummet.
The only agenda I'm pushing here is that despite what /co/ likes to think Diamond sales clearly show that a lot of books /co/ would deem shit, for women or tumblr still sell well and publishers only care about what sells.
The only time the big guys upstairs care about fanbases is when they know they can get extra cash, so they pander and research to those fanbases. That's why we get 50 Harley spin-offs, that's why Babsgirl is everywhere, that's why Bad Blood pushes a diverse BatFam
I don't see the logic of trying to cram in four distinct story arcs into one movie, then tie it all together with a generic mind control plot. It's like they're taking a chainsaw to all the Morrison stuff while still giving us an absolutely shit plot.
Also if people actually think this rotoscoped piece of shit was well animated then holy fuck man the "cartoons" section of /co/ really has gone downhill.
Batman and Robin worked because it focused on the Dick/Damian dynamic. Instead they bloated the fuck out of this cast and focused on everybody's daddy issues.
They ruined the best part of the Morrison Bat-Epic. The movie was trash.
So... I guess Batman's "no kill rule" works only for direct murders right? Because the amounts of villains that meet a bloody end by the hands of the batfamily in this one is kinda allarming.
So out of the villains who died, and did they full on die, or is it possible with comic logic could they return? Firefly and Killer Moth need to stop getting shat on (see Assault on Arkham), I thought they might try to push Firefly after the positive reception he got in Origins.
>Red Hood and the Outlaws
>Roy taking advantage that his friend's ex girlfriend was amnesiac
>Kory needing a dick not matterting who the man was
>the forced romance after the backlash
>Scott Lobdell writing
>dumbass New 52 stories
Yeah. I think I'm skipping this.
me too. I mainly like him in comics (have not really liked him animated) only disliked him when he first showed up and was a bitch boy killing people to prove himself. im 50/50 on his current run but I love him in annuals and self contained stuff
It was ok, just glad I got to see more batwoman tbqh
I miss the book ;_;
>Doyle said a while back that they're going to start colouring Damian browner to reflect his Arabic roots.
And that's retarded, Ra's is white and arabic.
Fucking americans. They can't understand diversity if the characters are not dark skinned.
yeah leviathan parts are kind of obvious and hatter was there to "magic" the mind break instead of any real psychological terror. cheaper to animate. batwing was also unneeded in this, the whole thing seems like a vehicle for characters casuals don't know but with it being direct to dvd I don't see it having a big chance of being picked up by them. I have not seen anything this stupid since deathstroke's underwater lair
speaking of BAD BLOOD, A cameo of Batgirl of burnside..
this information is of:
the move had far worse lines than that. + I don't see whats bad about it, its a way of saying "Im not batman" without being insipid. unless you are oversensitive about batman/guns thing it should not be a problem
>Dick, Luke, Kate, and Damian all rescue Bruce, who was as good as dead with Talia and crew
>Bruce is a cunt as soon as he starts talking
Jesus Christ. At least the Kate lingerie fight was nice
Will they ever introduce Elizabeth/Red Alice in this continuity?
The whole "smoke/shadows impair visions and thugs are attacked by bat silhouette but it's not Batman" thing has been done before. This is the opening scene but it manages to sum up the whole movie: an hour of recycled concepts, poor voice acting, and bad dialogue. It's better than the last two animated Batman films but it still comes off as a lazy cash in.
That wasn't too too bad, but it's far from my favorite DC animated movie. The batfamily shot at the end was nice, though.
I like Babsgirlbut her cameo at the end seemed so pointless if not just to say "HEY WE'RE DOING KILLING JOKE NEXT GUYS."
Batman vs. Robin. had a common theme. swamping nobody for talon, mixing the court etc did not really get in the way. reveal was bit weak but still a good movie that more or less worked.
All-Star Superman needed to be a two parter like TDKR really, but I suppose it didn't get one because it's not as iconic as TDKR and because it was one of their earlier ones where it was more risky.
It's a shame really.
I dunno, I mean I agree with you, but I think a story of that caliber needs to have a faithful adaptation.
Some call it the greatest Superman story for a reason. Whether you agree or not, you have to admit it's up there and perhaps it should have been treated with the reverence they seemed to have for Batman Year One and The Dark Knight Returns.
But as I say, it was early days for them and it was a bit risky perhaps.
In it's favour though, it had an absolutely phenomenal Superman theme, one that still gives me goosebumps and to me seems to go perfectly with the "they will join you in the sun speech"
>ll-Star Superman needed to be a two parter like TDKR really, but I suppose it didn't get one because it's not as iconic as TDKR and because it was one of their earlier ones where it was more risky.
>It's a shame really.
Nah, back then they were not sure, the GL movies flopped so it was a risk to big.
