New footage today on Disney Channel.
Milk my status as the only human for fame, go on the talk show circuit, and fulfill my dream of meeting Snow Leopard Reporter.
my first concern would be that i'm homeless, only own my shit stained boxers i sleep with and i'm of a species that clearly has needs this world isn't ready to accomodate(like shaving or holding pants without a tail), much less employ. I'm better off becoming a circus freak than trying to make it on my own.
By furry standards this movie has already produced a huge amount of straight smut. There is actually more art of Nick fucking with girls than fucking with guys. That's almost unheard of for a fox.
have you ever asked a question that nobody can answer /co/?
she saved the mob boss's daughter
oh! this explains everything
and spoils the fun.
how is this allowed?
prey and predator in sexual poses is literally the theme of every furry porn.
no thanks, my heart still belongs to lola.
c'mon disney. Buy space jam 2.
After seeing all the promotional material for this film with Nick and Judy (that selfie clip, those 4 chinese singles day posters) I gotta say...reading this tweet makes me feel like I was deceived or tricked. Like Byron was just trolling. Damn...They seem like so much more of an actual couple than any other Disney "couple"
Considering it's already known that Nick joins the police force at the end, it's pretty clear that they become Disney brand "close" where they basically are nearly in love by the end of the film but the word isn't dropped and there's no kissing to avoid offending anyone
Not romantic but strong emotional connection. Avoided the word "friends" for some reason since it would have been easier to say it that way. My guess is in the movie is open for interpretation as either subtle romantic or simply platonic. Fans can imagine it any way they want and nothing in canon will really contradict either interpretation.
Comedy mostly, but in people, the butt is the best place to get shot in since it's the biggest concentration of fat tissue without important things in it and it's more resistant to trauma.
Very close to arteries though.
Why the fuck would they frinedzoned them? Are only human romance OK for kids or something?
More of the opposite, they're marketing it to hell and back. Stores already have a bunch of merchandise. They also put a shit ton into world building for this movie.
look at this man and laugh at him
I think this is the first attempt of Disney to create a stronger romance based on strong friendship, rather than initial attraction present in other DIsney movies. However it will take at least 2 movies to fulfill as one movie is just way to early for the romance to not feel rushed.
Is like with Mulder and Scully, it took them years in police force to bond in emotional level which led to a romance.
If this was "early Disney", Mulder would just save her from a monstyer in the first episode and then they would fuck by the end of that episode.
Maybe something a bit more populist.
>a male and a female forming a bond so close that they take measurements to end up working with each other
>they are also extremely comfortable with each other's personal space and touch, hug, and grab each other often
I know Disney and Pixar are doing this faggity run of platonic friendships and nonromantic love like wreck it Ralph, the good dinosaur, frozen ect. But you cannot have a male and female act in the way Nick and Judy are and pass it off as non romantic.
Fuck you Byron. I have a social life and have been in a few relationships myself. I've seen how people behave when they like each other. Two people don't act that close unless they are a thing.
well, they both searched Big's car. Enough of reason to Ice them both
it's the folded ears, they make her so adorable.
yes, but they revealed so much, the plot, the jokes, even the villain... what's left to surprise the viewer?
you still have your kung fu panda 3
i dont like CGI eyes they use, there's something off about them.
You might wanna check this with /a/ or google but I think Japs keep releasing less and less original Feature films, and even they while not going full 3D are doing most things with computers by now.
could be it. when i see smugfox expresion in HD resolution his eyes look like they're about to pop out
No, they cant. The costs of doing traditional animation are so prohibitive that even the old method of sending tweening to Korea is no longer financially reasonable. Rather, flash is extensively used.
You have no concept of finance since you're a basement dwelling weeb, but by all means prove Disney wrong.
I think Nick and Judy's relationship developing romantically will not be addressed in the movie but nothing will say that it couldn't happen either. Just cause it doesn't happen doesn't mean its impossible. Like maybe after the events of the movie. The movie does have a lot of world building like being set up for a sequel or series.
You can't say either that because the two are different species that it won't work because that's kind of going against the message of the movie. Its like saying Judy can't be a cop because of her species.
it's a kid'smovie FFS, your imaginary shipping theories are irrelevant.
That's because anime artists and mangaka are paid/worked like slave labour, and since this is Japanese work ethic we're talking about, people would rather internalise it to the point of suicide than do something about it.
Those poor bastards
>mfw I'm a freelancer and I do 2-8 hours work a day in my pyjamas
>But you'd just be another animal like the rest
>'who's that bald ape guy'
There are no apes in Zootopia, and a unique one-of-a-kind species is still something they'd pay attention to even if there were apes. Especially if I played up the "last of my kind" card. I'd be rolling in endangered species sympathy poon.
i bet it was full of bird... bat shit and... shit.
they didnt even sanitized their feet, when making these molds, i bet there was fur in these pawsicles afterwards.
and you call it adorable..
oh shit, zoospeak!
hope its not contagious.
>Yeah its a weird world with separate climates
when i was a kid i saw Beverly Hills Teens , in one scene they were skking then they were sunbathing, i was confused. now i know they had their own mountain with snow and such.
I'll take the ambigous panther.
a reasonable choice, i'm proud of you, sir!
Uh no brah, you misunderstand, I don't know anything about this movie other than that it's Disney's attempt to pander to furfags. I don't know character names, or any gay shit like that. I'm just getting ready to ride the wave of preteens that will be turned furry when this movie comes out, you know, for teh lulz.
It's like you can't comprehend that I don't know what your implying. If I followed this as religiously as you have maybe that would've been a real zinger and I would feel bad, but I didn't. So it's just kinda moot in this case. Do you get it now?
Funny you should bring that up, I was actually going to re-request that someone make an updated version of this picture featuring the fox and/or the rabbit character. But then I noticed this thread was nearing it's end and thought I would have better luck when the next thread was inevitably started. But while I'm here I may as well ask. Can you by any chance draw this up?
>In my opinion they were marketed as if there was romantic tension.
Really? I never got that vibe.
The movie is already predictable enough without romance sprinkled on the top. I'd rather have a friendship like Mako and What's-his-face from Pacific Rim.
I admit I'm hoping for romance and that makes me see things that may not be there. But they do touch each other in ways that seemy so gentle and intimate that I'm thinking more than friendship is implied.
B-but I like predictable in this case. Can't I have my cute bunny cop and smug fox con-artist get over their differences and fall in love even in a Disney cartoon ?
>What he says
>Nick and Judy become partners through thick and thin! Best friends forever.
>What he means
>They get an adrenaline buzz after the caper and pork. Judy gets the knot and unfortunately is wedged firmly on his dick for several hours. They never want to sleep with each other again after that.
Riiiight, Disney. Kids don't get it, but everyone else knows when 2 people push the friends angle that hard, they're the type of "friends" that leap apart, get quiet, and refuse to make eye contact whenever a 3rd person enters the room.
From what I've read about how they designed the city, they use technology to maintain different climates in various sections of the city. Like there's a machine that takes all the moisture away from Sahara Square and then pumps it into the Rain Forest District or whatever.
I read in one interview that they consulted with real engineers when designing the world. In one obvious/silly example, there's a wall of air conditioners separating Tundra Town and the desert area, cold air one side and the hot out the other
I don't have my female coworkers climb on top of me and grab my arm and take selfies with me while pressing their cheek against mine. The amount of body contact Nick and Judy have been doing in the advertisements would earn them a trip to the HR department.
Do you know who actually does grab my clothes to try and drag me places? My girlfriend.
It depends per girl. Some are really touchy-feely by default but would never touch the guy that they have a crush on while others are the opposite. We don't know how Judy is. Maybe she really really likes Nick or doesn't think much of it.
Would be funny if its one sided, though and the other is completely oblivious about it.
Additionally, same could be said with some guys, Nick flip-flops between being an asshole and a sweetheart towards Judy. I wonder if he's a jerk to everyone or just Judy. Can't wait to see how he interacts with other characters.
Hey guys this faggot doesn't follow memes religiously. Sounds like you accidentally the over 9000 XD
>trying to troll furfags in a zootopia thread
>edge so sharp
Please take care of her
i despise muslims. good thing we have nothing to offer to them in this country.
Couldn't. People just seem to know. Apparently, the only reason dudes are in a toy aisle lot infested with Lego crap is for Zootopia merch, and everyone seems to know. Shit's creepy. Check out this display: just figures, no banner or marquee. I finally found the area (after looking for them for 15 minutes), looked at it for like 2 minutes, then looked over to the right, some 20 feet away. A mother was standing there looking right at me and smiling and standing there with her daughter of maybe 5. The kid goes "Mommy, what?". The lady says "Nothing, just some stuff from that new Disney zootopia movie." She never even looked at the shelf, just keeping eye contact with me and smiling, until she walked away. How the fuck. I was the only one in the toy section for 20 minutes. She like JUST got there, and she was too far away to even see the figures. I passed them twice myself cuz they didn't stand out. I snapped this photo after they left. Was she a wizard?
There was a guy in looking at the figures the other day after Tare had stocked everything in full...I wanted a Clawhauser but wasn't sure Zootopia was the ice breaker to start with, so I just let him finish and leave and I grabbed Clawhauser and left.
Probably, but how hard is it to find toys in a toy aisle?
It's something the average 1st world child learns to do about as soon as they get the idea of looking for things, in the store.
There is a logical way they lay them out. You just browse until you see the toy or logo that looks right.
Various stores put out new toys in a certain way.
But then, it's usually not hard for me to find things in stores. It's only annoying when a store gets clever and changes things.
The kind of bacteria that make people die of diarrhea aren't usually on the bottom of people's feet, unless they've been walking through feces, and even then, that sort of bacteria is unlikely to survive months or years of fermentation in an anaerobic, high-alcohol environment.
Holy fuck I wonder how you people go outside and how you're dressed/shaved. Hope you're not a fat, greasy neck beard 'cause I'd do the same she did.
>tfw good looking and hiding power level 24/7
>dat stoned Finnick.
i'd buy one. wonder when we'll get these toys in onion land.
that's... interesting, i wonder how they power it.
yeah, we got celebrities, mafias, cities within cities, different ways of traveling for different animals, even naturist club!
i'd say both.
It's going to be worth the experience.
>meeting up with about 5 other furfag friends on opening day
>gonna go hiking for the morning/afternoon
>come back for dinner at a local pizzaria
>end the night by going to an IMAX 3D of Zootopia
We're making it a fun and social mini-vacation. We did a similar thing for star wars.
We're not going to show up in suits or anything weird though.
Haven't been in a toy aisle since 1990 (last toy was Playmates ninja turtles Panda Khan), dude. Don't know my way around except to avoid Lego and Barbie, which now have their own aisles, somehow.
Bookstore anon here. These came out today.
They spoil the movie...
I wish that was going to be my day.
>probably have to work
>will go to the movie alone
>hope to maybe meet some other furs in real life while there
>will go home alone and make an oven pizza
at this point it doesnt matter, entire movie is kid friendly flick, cuddly animals doing cute stuff.
if they marketed it like a detective movie, i'd not be even in this thread.
same, except i dont even want to meet "furs"
there's something off about this guy, he gave the speech, but he barely moved, why he didnt give Judy the badge?
i dobut we'll see this scene in the movie.
>I was asked who inspired Judy&Nick: Cary Grant for Nick. Judy was inspired by characters/not real people: Leslie Knope & Superman
I'm having trouble expressing my excitement for this film and I feel many others are too. It's that hype train that gets Disney it's big bucks, and frankly just thinking about asking my group of friends if they want to see it scares me. Thankfully my sister already invited me to see it, so I can continue to play it cool. A friend brought it up once and we talked about the potential, but I don't feel out about it outside here. In a world where my parents know what a furry is, mainstream TV has people informed enough to be uncomfortable. I don't think this will ruin this over marketed movie's profit, but it may make a dent in it.
Heh. That's pretty creative. Seems like something Terry Gilliam would put in his movies.
Maybe they can get George Miller to direct the sequel.
Judy, I get not wanting to judge families by appearances - they come in all sorts of shapes and sizes and combinations - but there is a fine line. In fact, it's not much of a line, it's more of a very wide gap. A species divide, if you will.
Adding to that, it looks like that one OP who was flabbergasted as to how the food economy works in this city has more to chew on now.
Judy is a good role model for little girls, she worked hard to become a cop, and now she's working even harder to prove she's a serious officer. Much more refreshing.
>But she's a bunny.
Oh fuck off.
I guess kids don't give a fuck about going to watch something they already watched. It's why your new favorite show can play 24/7 without the network suffering any negative effects.
I can't remember the last time I knew every single thing that was going to happen in a movie months before release, tho.
The movie, unless you're the type of person to read wikipedia articles instead of watching movies.
If I avoided all TFA spoilers, anyone can avoid Zootopia spoilers - if the wanted. You only have yourself to blame.
I'll probably still see the movie anyway, just not at the first showing.
Do you think 3d doesn't require that? You still need someone for all of the lighting effects, camera work, tween the models, animate the models, create the models, rig the models. It's actually cheaper to do straight 2d or flash animation. Which is why TV does it a lot. People don't perceive 2d movies as being good anymore so they see 3d animated features. While, statistics have shown that it doesn't make a difference in TV spots, ergo most animation on TV is still 2D, it's the most economic solution.
Yeah. They're even show in one of the trailers or TV spots.
Saw the golden book, not sure if it follows the plotline or not. The other book's leak were
Nick is feral, Judy has different clothing to what she has on this book and the trailers when sneaking in the strange building. Sure, the books skip a lot, but the last sequence has wardrobe malfunction. International trailer and one of the book leaks its civil clothing. Golden book's plotline with all the trailers its police outfit.
It is powered by hell. When zootopians die they go to the planet's core where they are given a wheel that they must turn using only their essence. Years and years pass of turning until they expend the!selves that they are sucked into the cooling units and blown into the wind, from there not even the dead know what happens.
But you see it is justice and balance! Very good people turn alot to help the living, bad people turn alot as punishment, tiny people don't have alot of essence so they turn for a little while before evaporating, and Big people have alot so they must turn for a longer time.
>tfw someone will edit this to "Hop in my bunny cunny."
She is probably just quicker than the rhino or something cliched like that and tires him out...though I cant see how she'd have the force to knock him down.
I hope Judy isn't portrayed as a "super-rabbit" in the film, somehow capable of taking down everyone with ease and the only thing holding her back on the force is the notion that "hurr durr rabbits are too small to be cops". I'd much rather see her accept that she isn't as powerful/strong as the bigger animals and learn to be smarter about how she can take make arrests.
Though having watched the trailers (particularly the part with Bogo saying its about what you are capable of etc,) I probably shouldn't worry.
WARNING: THIS COMMENT CONTAINS SPOILERS!
I think the director may have lied when he said that the relationship between Nick and Juddy is not romantic.
I work in the studio in Brazil that makes the dubbing of Disney movies. Sorry for my terrible English. Here, Rodrigo Lombardi will make the voice of Nick and Monica Iozzi will make the voice of Juddy. Both famous here. The other characters have voices made by normal people. I had the privilege of seeing several scenes of the film, but not all.
To prevent that we gave spoilers of the movie, they cut the film in several scenes and voice acting is done using random scenes (not in sequence), so that we do not know the history of film.
Going back to what I was saying, I think the director lied. I think he did it to not create many expectations about the movie and create surprise for everyone. There's a scene where Nick gives a little kiss on the head of Judy. In another, the opposite happens. Juddy gives a kiss to Nick. But kiss? Yes, the film will have! After solving a case. But I do not know if the kiss was because were very happy after solving the case or because they liked each other. Not a kiss that gives a friend, on the cheek, but a very deep kiss. Very cute this scene.
Emphasized what I say, the director MAY have lied about the relationship between Judy and Nick. Particularly,I do not think that two friends act the way that I saw in the scenes and do not believe that after 48 hours of adventures, will still be just friends.
Unfortunately, the scenes after this episode that would show what would happen to Juddy and Nick after this adventure I have not seen. So I can not confirm the story that many say that Nick will turn a police officer and Judy partner. It seems that this movie will be very long. Can reach 120 minutes.
Here in Brazil the film will debut February 18th, but there will be a preview on February 8th. I`m very anxious to watch the entire movie.
If this movie were two male characters or two female characters, people would be calling you delusional and start whining about how they are unable to have two men in a strong friendship without being thought of as gay.
It's like I can't even have a strong male/female friendship without people thinking their romantically attached.
>I was asked who inspired Judy&Nick: fox for Nick. Judy inspired by rabbit.
Shakzelle will give confused children premature boners
> I AM THE DAA-AAA-AAA-NGER
> I AM THE ONE WHO KNAAA-AA-AA-CKS.
he NEVER pays taxes
what a criminal!
>It's like I can't even have a strong male/female friendship without people thinking their romantically attached.
Maybe if the characters had a huge age gap or if they were married to or at least in a relationship with someone else. But if Frozen taught me anything, even if the characters are related, they will not be spared from shipping.
"Wrangled," "Wreck-It Rhino" and "Pig Hero 6."
this is hilarious
So I'm guessing her carrot pen is going to be a product Disney will push for the holiday season. Kinda gives me flashbacks to Home Alone and the Talkback recorder. (I'll also assume some anon on /wsg/ will eventually create a webm of Judy's pen saying "Hey kids, we're home early!")
I think part of the con is that he pretends to be Nick's kid, due both to his size and also being a type of fox, and wears the elephant costume to give people the impression that he's just a child who's really into bigger animals; so much that he really wants one of those giant popsicles they eat. But, oh no, his dad can't afford big animal treats! If only there was some good Samaritan to foot the bill...
End result, no one gets suspicious about two adult foxes buying an over-sized pop, and profits from "pawpsicles" is 100% as they didn't pay a dime for the ingredients.
well, one of those 3 things you mention I still think is bullshit. I've read enough interviews with Ginnifer Goodwin (Judy's VA) to be convinced that its " just a platonic friendship " but hell, I'd be very happy with them " kissing" eachother anywhere
