Tonally, the movie will be a bit scarier and more hi-tech than the original and the set pieces will be bigger, while still being very funny. For example, I want in the third act to have the entire police force and army accompany the Ghostbusters to the final battle but since our villain only wants to deal with the Ghostbusters and wants to make the government look ridiculous, he possesses the entire police and army forces and makes them do a big ridiculous dance number in the middle of Fifth Avenue, thus neutralizing them (and delighting himself).

Then the sequels start to make not enough money, so they reboot to try and boost sales up the same way an Issue 1 would. It was average. Other then a couple of the dinosaur sequences it was Generic Blockbuster #475 and the direction was mind-numbingly flat when it wasn’t aping Spielbergo. The best thing I can say about it was that the kid/teen actors were way better then I expected.

It was nice to see Bryce Dallas Howard in something big again even if she was playing the most generic cold career-woman character possible.

I don't even care if it's an all girl team, we've had female Ghostbusters before.

The problem Is that it's been months and all they have to show of it is the same photos, cameo reports, getting the old crew to hype it and twitter drama. Nothing to show of the movie itself or how the actors interact, it's reminding me too much of the shitshow Fantastic 4 was until release so I have no faith in it.

And that script pitch was terrible.
