The serpent strikes, and I'm not talking about the midgard serpent.
I'm not sure if there is a perspective thing going on here but Loki seems taller then FemThor.
Dear Lord not even Thor is this hotheaded.
At least now we know that we don't have to worry if Aaron will ruin Loki.
200 billion is still more than the GDP of several countries. Worst part is, Malekith didn't even need to destroy Roxxon's weather satellite for his "plan" to work, he did it for the lulz
Nope no controlling going on, just punishment for breaking the law.
Well in the same issue they confirmed that he already recovered from that 200 billion dollar loss through all the oil and minerals that he gets in the realms.
when Odin died wayback the divine right to rule passed to Thor. When Odin came back from the dead and retook the throne, he became an usurper. As an usurper, he is an evil person. Or to put it better, gods are living stories and my forcing Thor to give up the throne that was his by rights, Odin became an antagonistic force, and the antagonists in myths are cartoonish evil by nature so in a roundabout kind of way, Odin's 'sin' has been corrupting him ever since
Cul brainwashing Odin ever since his return would make this tolerable, true
Do you realize how much Oil he'd need to get in order to compensate a 200 billion dollar loss? It would take years, and Dario Agger isn't a long-term guy
The worst part is that I can't tell if that's the point they're trying to make
Is she supposed to come off as a retard who tries to solve all of her problems by throwing Mjolnir and doing the flying hammer trick? Seems like it.
Was about to post that.
It's been a while since Silver Age Thor stories other than "Tales of Asgard" have been acknowledged
657030202234 barrels of oil, Which is probably more then what has ever existed on earth and that much oil would collapse the market.
But hey fantasy, and who knows maybe elf oil costs more.
between Stark, Richards, Wakanda and AIM, alternative energy sources should be dominant and oil be something relied upon only by poor countries that don't have the money to transition quickly
yup, still dying.
because cancer is your own cells dividing more than they are supposed to, the hammer can't tell that anything is wrong on that regard
but because chemotherapy poisons the body, the hammer sees that as an illness and wipes all trace from her body. It's kind of a recurring thing that cancer trumps healing factor in most situations. Even Deadpool's healing factor is fucked up because it considers having cancer is normal, and any attempt to give his healing factor to others gives them instant cancer as well
>He looks so dashing and romantic
Wasn't Loki always drawn as pretty ugly until recent years?
Props to Dario Agger. Thanks to him America doesn't have to take Saudi Arabia and the Gulf countries' shit anymore and the dictatorships in those countries would end, which would also lead to Islamist groups losing most of their funding.
Dario Agger is the hero we deserve
Has anyone noticed how much better this comic is when it's not about Thor?
Loki's machinations are clever, his arc continues and he is for once truly the better man. Well, the better god anyway.
Hope he catches Jane and gets her to safety, then talks some sense into her with the cancer.
That would have most of the damage in the previous arc undone.
But Deadpool also has this weird thing going on where if you remove his cancer then his healing factor would overload and kill him. But if you remove the healing factor then the cancer would take over and kill him.
Agreed, this could have been so much worse but I'm pleasantly surprised how things have turned out. I hope this turns out to be a stealth Loki series, because he's written so much better than Jane (not a tall order, I know.)
It needs to be some brainwashing or something-- maybe the serpent figured out a way to make odin afraid-- cause Aaron is just engaging in character assassination with Odin. Thor clearly got all his hotheadness from his father, but Odin was never anywhere near this bad. It's really pathetic to see a writer run such a great character through the mud to push a weak plot point. And why do long time Thor readers have to pretend Freya is some big deal in Asgard? She's just not.
Agreed. I can understand why Freya encouraged Thor to let the hammer go-- she was trying to help her son get over his depression-- but her actions can reasonably be viewed as not only breaking the law but its like "why'd you side with a random Thor you knew for a total of 5 mintues over your husband, king, and god who you've known for millions of years?"
Aaron is doing really bad writing with the whole Odin sub-plot, fact is that Odin's position is very defensible and makes sense, and Freya was needlessly tweaking him.
Yup. The visualisation of his inner conflict, his breaking the mould and fighting an eternity's compulsions make him a far more sympathetic character than the angry chick who wants nothing but to hit things.
>Dario Agger is the hero we deserve
As long as you don't work for him
She comes off very bad in this scene with Loki. She took his head off. What if that actually kid him? She doesn't know anything about loki's powers or how he and Thor saved asgard or how Jane's current patron-- Freya-- commissioned loki to help save asgard countless times.
She just says "oh I remember this guy, I'm going to kill him." She's a jerk. That's Thor's brother. If Thor, after all this time, hasn't gotten around to killing Loki then she shouldn't either. She's a jerk. She has a hammer-- she thinks it means that she's worthy to be thor so she feels like she can do what she wants-- but the hammer is broken, it let jane pick her up, but it isn't about being worthy its just a YOLO hammer. So now jane does stuff like this thinking she's worthy when really she's not. Which is exactly why Odin wanted the hammer back.
I think he means Odin specifically, but the phrasing still allows the inclined reader to scream patriarchy.
That is effectively a snake-tongued move fitting for Loki, which means that line at least can be seen as very clever indeed.
Odin is just pissed off about a lot of things
Pissed off how Asgard changed in politics after he went away, pissed off that his son lost the hammer, pissed off that the hammer refuses to obey him as well, pissed off that someone new shows up with the hammer and doesn't even try to go to him about it, pissed off that his son is giving his name away to this new person and last of all pissed off that nobody is siding with him and even his wife has betrayed him.
So really he is not having the best of times, also first child came back from the dead and I'm not sure how that relationship currently looks like.
>She doesn't know anything about loki's powers or how he and Thor saved asgard or how Jane's current patron-- Freya-- commissioned loki to help save asgard countless times.
exactly so she has little reason to not punch his head off when meeting him.
>keeping that Mjolnir warm for a bit
So are those line metacomment to say that Odinson will become Thor again in a near future? I mean we all know that he would but not when..
Just see it as a meta about how hard it is to break old habits. But i get why youre upset we havent really seen him try to break the habit. And i would like to see him trying instead of writers telling us that without showing.
Stark puts that shit in fucking phones which most people have figured out how to take apart. There's probably a business somewhere that entirely runs upon hooking up the power grid to a house to disassembled starkphones.
of course she's chilled out and talking, she has him restrained under the hammer. it's not weird that she hammer-ed him in the first place, either, considering most of asgard seems able enough to take a few hits off it
>"While The Women Do All the Work, The Men Stand Around, Playing With Themselves."
This is stupid. Also Thor and FemLoki are doing is trying to murderer each other for no reason. Plus, FEMLOKI IS LOKI?! What?!
What? Fem Loki was when Loki was riding around in Sif's stolen body, but he's also just randomly changed genders before because Loki is a god and can do that shit. Like there was a whole episode in Agent of Asgard where she was Goddess of Stories for that one issue just because. She went back to being male Loki literally between panels.
I think just because the artist wanted to draw qt Loki but still, it was without reason and didn't need one. Loki is Loki.
No. When Thor's appearence is referenced in any of the old stories and sagas, he's pretty much always described as having "hair like fire" or other poetic turns of phrase that translate as redhead.
