Disney released a new clip today for the series premiere. I know people have no expectations for this show, being on Disney Junior and all, but I like what they're doing with it. That crocodile fight alone in the episode they previewed shows they're not going to sugar-coat everything.
I tried to find the clip on YouTube, but it only exists on this god-awful website. Sorry.
I found it interesting that in the episode with the crocodiles, they had some dialogue about how the bad guy must be given a chance, and they speculated that he might turn into an alright leader when he grows and gets more life experience. And now an episode with the message that even if hyenas have been the villains in the franchise, they're not all bad. The fact that they've given room for a less black-and-white good/evil dichotomy makes me kinda hopeful that maybe the series might have room for a villain redemption arc some day in the future. I have a soft spot for optimistic messages like that.
I don't think she's a lesbian, anon.
This is what I got. Huh.
let me tel u bout female hyenas
I was going to let the thread die and make a new one with a YouTube link, but you bumped it for that. Way to go, champ.
Here is your new Australian Hyena waifu.
Huh, neat. I'm volunteering at a zoo and the male lion there's called Jasiri too. It's Swahili for "prince".
Begs the question why the bitch has such a name...
>And now an episode with the message that even if hyenas have been the villains in the franchise, they're not all bad.
This message always bugs me in any kind of show. Often it just comes over as, "X race/species is inherently bad except for a couple of exceptions who'll turn against their kind"
I'd prefer "X race/species is diverse and complex and they're not all going to like each other and they're not all going to like the protagonist".
But I doubt that'll happen here.
they might have clit-dicks, but from what i understand the female basically goes flaccid and lets the male penetrate her penis, the actual sex resembles traditional doggy style.
i guess the girl-penis is all for posturing?
Its perfectly natural for racism to exist in the animal kingdom.
In the same way, its perfectly natural for racism to exist in mankind.
See it this way, is it wrong for a domestic cat to fear all dogs, even though not all dogs are violent towards cats?
>See it this way, is it wrong for a domestic cat to fear all dogs, even though not all dogs are violent towards cats?
Do you own a cat or dog.
In my experience it's usually the other way around.
The mating style begins with the male trying to get the back half of his body under the female, typically with her heckling him, so he can then penetrate upwards into her flacid clitoris. They then transition to doggy style.
Not really. It's more just really heavy femdom. The Clitrois is never used to penetrate and doesn't behave as a penis in any way. When a male and female hyena meet, the male will let the female force him to erection to show submission. However apparently the males can't be better at anything over the females so evolution insisted Hyena chicks also have bigger submission poles, so they can submit harder than the males to.
>knows about Kion's reputation
>gives up her element of surprise
>gives up her pit high place
>jumps within claw reach of a cornered animal
>lost in enemy territory
>someone confronts him who he knows jack about
>doesn't bother lying
>tries to pick a fight
All these mistakes.
Why couldn't Kion be Kiara's kid? This is really bugging me. Having Kiara set to already rule the land one day makes it feel like Kion just got the hand me down position of serving her. What, where they afraid to show grandpa Simba or something?
>Kion just got the hand me down position of serving her
I get the feeling this is actually meant to be a purposeful subtle conflict in the show. They come right out and have Kion say "I don't want to be like Scar" and draw all kinds of parallels to Scar and Mufasa's relationship, and one of Scar's big beefs was having to play second fiddle to Mufasa. Except here instead of the situation being the villain's motivation, they're showing the protagonist resist corruption.
Who? Ever character design save Simba is new. Besides with the growth rate of lions Kiara can be grown and Simba could still be young enough in appearance.
I doubt they're gonna go that far with it. This is on Disney Junior after all.Having Kion go that deep on his feelings would just belittle his advised guard post.
No, instead of "hey you know you're like Scar why don't you have his old place and job", I think it would be more interesting if Kion was given the opportunity to be like Simba and take that step, only to decide he wanted to sever the pride-lands in a different way. The lion guard would be what he created as a new way to make a difference while being true to himself.
Every thread we get this shit. I know you dream about tranny porn, but it doesn't work that way.
"However, female hyenas are still females and behave as such - female-female mounting is rare, and the females are incapable of actually mating. If a hyena pup indulges in sex play, involving mounting other pups, that hyena is almost invariably a male."
