The other night I went to see The Revenant and I saw the trailer for the Deadpool movie.
Now, while I'm not much of a comic book reader and I don't browse 4chan much anymore I felt compelled to come to /co/ and vent a little
This movie looks so fucking stupid. A bunch of cheap pop culture and meme references. I cringed the entire trailer, and I heard no laughs from the audience (it was a packed theater, mind you). I've always thought the idea for Deadpool was pretty cool, edgy, but cool. But they totally fucked it up right here, god dammit, what are your thoughts on this abomination /co/?

Hoo boy you don't know that half of it senpai:
Posting the rest of the Deadpool meme variants that are never-before-seen here.
Astonishing Ant-Man #3 variant by Phil Noto. What meme is being homaged?
ANAD Avengers #4 variant by Bobby Rubio.
What meme is being homaged?
Unbeatable Squirrel Girl #4 variant by John Tyler "Action Figure Mock-ups" Christopher. It looks like a mish-mash of two different memes.
Carnage #4 Variant by Raney. What meme is being homaged?
Angela Queen of Hel #4 variant by Mike McKone. What is being homage there?
The last two unrevealed Deadpool variants are for All-New X-Men #4 (in February) and Karnak #4 (delayed to March).
...Shit, I don't know.
This is gonna really bug me.
Deadpool is a film genetically engineerd to appeal to imdbspawn /v/edditors with no sense of sophisication who laud meme dialog, which supports upvote groupthink mentality, and meme acting with a good movie pandering reddit tier meta capeshit "entertainment" sensibilities and a meme tv movie aesthetic. This is a flick at best and will rightfully ruin ryan reynolds career.
