I Fixed Ms Marvel.
I think the word you're looking for is "ruined." Also OP is a faggot.
Nah, it's gotta be panties. Underwear on the outside is a staple for superheroes. Also, it closer resembles the original Captain Marvel.
Speaking of her, was she ever in a marvel animated movie? Someone posted a screenshot of her in a fight scene at night and it looked good, but other /co/bros said the movie was okay but the animation was janky...but nobody gave the name of the movie before the thread died!!!
She was in avengers confidential: black widow punisher.
SJW retard that doesn't get super hero designs
Distinguished gentleman that decided to update a classic, removing a bit of the original femininity but keeping the color break and composition.
I love how tumblrinas have started using triggered to mock other people when they are still the only people who use it seriously and cry when trigger warnings aren't used on fiction. Always good for a laugh.
ugh, that's a disgusting level of objectification, what with that skin tight costume designed specifically for showing her curves, showing off the lips and flowing hairs. that's a costume made for the male gaze, no two ways about it. No self respecting woma would dress like that.
I fixed it and made it right.
At this point you're just stealing a costume.
I have honestly never liked a single one of Carol's costumes until she became Captain marvel.
The black one with the lightning bolt is especially bad. It's like they wanted people to conflate the two publishers' "Marvel families"
but look at the "feminist" costume. Clearly showing off all the curves, making the breast and hips so prominent. The red lips, the flowing hair.
That is a costume designed to arouse men.
I understand that the OP had good intentions, but to consider that costume acceptable is a sure sign of internalized misogyny.
Sex-positivity is easily used as an excuse for titilating character designs, but I don't think it really applies in Carol's case. She isn't Power Girl. When you think of Carol Danvers' character traits, I doubt "in charge of her own sexuality" is up there.
That was actually the point of it, when they were making her a heroine they said they wanted a sexier costume to make her a more sexually liberated woman, the original artist they felt didn't do a good job of that so they redesigned her with the black and yellow, and thought they accomplished that.
Or so I heard.
Piping and Nomura belts replacing the sash? No thanks. Also, what's with this modern trend of replacing solid color shapes with muddled patches of color throughout the outfit? It makes it look unnecessarily busy.
It's a mess. Too many lines, too many plates, there's not need for two belts.
But the ass remains perfect.
Short hair Carol second only to Binary hair Carol.
Neither of those are bad. They're both good and don't give me the left is sexist, olympic gymnasts where that because its easier to move in and super heros are based on atheletes.
Now wanna know the gratitutious one? Pic related. The leotard is riding too high for it to be a sensible thing a HERO aligned with GOOD should wear.
Cause right now I wanna do BAD things to her
Let's be real for a a sec, we are at a point in comics where we no longer accept sexual objectification for out heroines yet at the same time covering up does not make the costume any better. What would be your recommendation for making sure the costume remains marketable while making the costume interesting to look at?
>When you think of Carol Danvers' character traits, I doubt "in charge of her own sexuality" is up there.
No, when I think of Carol Danvers' character traits my first thought is "Carol Danvers has character traits again? Since when?" Which is even worse than being mischaracterized.
My second thought is that back when Carola actually HAD a character, it was one where she was enough of a fuck up that she had to hire a publicist to fix her crappy public image, and I can easily make the mental link to "sexy up your costume" from there.
Khamala confirmed for good taste
Personally i'd be fine with a redesign like this
This argument is why cape comics suck. Writers and artists are trying to appease two idiots neither of whom give a shit about anything except having their fanfiction realized, not that they had much talent to begin with.
Also, exposed thighs means expose femoral arteries. You know what happens when those open up? It's like cutting the bottom off a styrofoam coffee cup. Yeah, that's a reference. I have to live in this shitty world too, asshole.
>Now wanna know the gratitutious one? Pic related. The leotard is riding too high for it to be a sensible thing a HERO aligned with GOOD should wear.
Yes because how DARE a good heroic person be sexually attractive in a non subtle way.
Go to mother fucking hell puritan shit stain.
