I think it's a meme by now.
>tfw you will never hang out with Grizz
I personally enjoy it
/co/ seems to enjoy it for several reasons
This thread should be titled What does /co/ think about Panda? Because let's be honest that's the only reason you're here right?
>a bunch of 7-year-old mexicans running around talking just like Grizz
I wanted it to be good because the bears are cute but ultimately it wasn't, it's just too safe and boring.
I'm here for the Grizz, but Panda's cute.
Some series are great, some are outright boring.
It's the type of show where the best moment in an episode is a character autistically stacking cream packets in an expression of his idea of fun. There's a little humor between these sincere moments but there's a lot of cuteness and character driven that somehow feels realer than most other shows. In a show like this, "real" is synonymous with "boring" to a lot of people, but then there are those who see it more as "comfy". It's not for everyone, like every show ever, but this one is more polarizing and has a fa base that makes many here want to dislike it.
>Ice bear is best bear.
>All other opinions are invalid.
I watched that episode where they hung out with a little girl who tried to fuck them over but for some reason they were still friends in the end, then I watched an episode where grizz got attached to a burrito and it had some very hamfisted Steven Universe style forced feels at the end, crying and all.
I haven't watched it since.
>I love Burrito!
>Burrito is life!
>No take Burrito
>I was sad child bear
>It's not forced or completely out of nowhere, it's sad.
Other then that specific episode the show itself is fine.
If you took out the scene at the beginning and the one at the end you would not even notice anything was missing. I'd be willing to bet money the episode was just Grizz dry humping a giant burrito and just before they sent it off to air somebody said "you know what, lets add some flashback shit of Grizz crying in a tree. People will think it's deep if someone cries, look at Steven Universe."
oh god when you read it in my language it spells out: hey hey faggot!
It's gonna be the most dated thing in like a month.
Which episode does this qt show up in? Is she just a background character or does she have a big role?
For all it's faults, at least this show has cute girls.
She's just a background character that broadcast stuff through a youtube wannabe channel. She only appears twice in two episodes.
Episode 10: Nom Nom
Episode 16: Panda's Sneeze
It is growing on me...(especially since I noticed that Demetri Martin is actually playing an autist, unremarked, and well).
Still, not really my thing; still to similar to the other shows on CN right now (especially the other new ones, that they want to show twice a day, every day).
Even if it ain't your thing, at least it's different.
Wabbit, TinyTitians, Clarence, N00bs...it might as well be one variety show....
BearStack was a forced meme before the show was officially announced.
I only watch it for Yi.
Oddly enough, that was why they left BatMan on in a bar I used to frequent, after the "Kayto Show" rolled credits: they could follow it, and learn some stuff, without speaking English (not entirely sure anything aimed at 8-year olds requires understanding the language...maybe the plots are just there to amuse the parents and writers...maybe the entire supposed popularity is based on "look at the bears...hey, hey...look at the bears!)
I don't see the appeal and while I'm not gon a pretend that means no one else should like it, part of me suspects there's a growing culture on /co/ where you have to be balls deep into the fanbase of at least one currently airing cartoon at all times for the sake of having something to do while you're here
Ron Stopable, BMO, Zane, and Archer are all strong maybes...there is the "stereotypical scientist friend" on that trite Live Action Disney show, now...but Demetri Martin's Ice Bear is the first time I've seen an unmistakably autistic person, on a kid's show, treated as normal, and relatable...not as some sort of freak.
Not a borderline, depending-on-the-writer, case; not as an informed attribute, not backed up by their actions--just as another, normal person (well...talking animal, living in the human Bay-area, but you get what I mean).
I really like the character designs and animation. I think the writing is pretty clever and witty. Its not too loud mouth or obnoxious which really helps with it feeling "comfy". AAAAAND Chloe is waifu. Although i can totally see why someone would find it boring. Its really not for everyone.
I still swear pic related has Asperger's Syndrome. (Prone to obsessions that many would consider strange, no friends in his age group, great friends with some outside it, repetitive habits when he's engaged, socially clueless etc)
Ice Bear is apparently considered a "savant". Also I find it silly that they still keep up the joke that he fucking hates dogs.
>see thread about current favorite cartoon
>too tired to discuss show, characters, fangirl(boy?) over the characters, discuss possible things they could do in the show, lust over bears, make fun of lusting over the bears, etc, etc
Fuck, maybe tomorrow morning if this thread is still here.
Hey maybe an ass, but he is a cute asshole.
It's cute, and it has bears, so that's good enough for me.
It's worth watching for the characters. It's not exactly funny but I don't think it needs to be, to be a good show. I don't know why everyone thinks laughter is essential.
So does everyone know they are bears or what? I don't know. Half the time they acknowledge they are wild animals, but the other half everyone is treating them like perfectly normal people. the show needs to choose.
I'm slowly admitting to myself I'm really a furfag and this kinda proves it.
But besides that, the show was pretty bland but I liked how it had an Adventure Time easter egg in the episode about getting Chloe friends
i wrote a thing if anyone wants to read some autism:
Try these: https://mega.nz/#F!ARoAWKJJ!9qgaeqvVSqb5mNA4DBfQWw
If not, go to Kisscartoon. Also, just a heads up, first episode isn't really that good, but the later episodes are. The Chloe episode is really good.
