Is a hopelesscomic so don't expect anything good. with some landddddddddddd
>>78649333
I hate Bendis for not letting this character die in obscurity.
>>78649674
I miss Julia.
>>78649691
At least she made sense as Spider-Woman, Jessica has been a garbage, nonsensical character since her very inception.
>>78649823
The problem is that Jess was only created at last minute to secure a trademark.
Christ the Inheritors were such a stupid fucking idea. I have no idea why anyone at Marvel would think something so out of tone with the spider books was a good idea. That shit was a disaster.
>>78650167
pretty sure most "Spiders" hero's are immune to radiation.
>>78650203
Resistant compared to baseline humans, not immune.
Even Hulk can get fucked up by enough radiation of the right wavelength.
>>78651032
booooooooo. Why post this shit?
>>78651163
Let continued the pain.
>>78650183
Not to mention they make little to no sense when it comes to motivation.
>A big family of multiversal vampires suddenly decided to kill every Spider Totem ever. They say it's nothing personal and that it's just because their hungry but I guess they don't care about depleting their food source hold on, this just in, apparently they can eat ANY fucking animal so hunting every spider makes even less sense and radiation is their weakness even though they've been eating people with radioactive blood this whole event.
Go read.
>>78651163
It's better then the Spider-Verse shit
>>78650149
I don't think that's really a woman coughing.
>>78651398
Land trace the wrong porn.
>>78651320
> A C-Lister versus six Z-listers
>>78650717
Just fucking make out with her already, Carol
>>78650183
yeah, it was a mildly fun ride, but the whole thing was a clusterfuck.
we did get some fun people out of it though, like sp//dr. And tokaktsu spider-man coming through the breach with a giant robot was a pretty good moment.
>>78651252
But, that doesn't mean its good. say what you want both are still shit.
>>78652101
What's happening in that bottom panel?
This shit is almost over last issue
>>78651911
What's your opinion on this costume compared to the original?
>>78652325
The sunglasses are ugly wish they keep old mask.
>>78652325
Hipster as fuck. I could have accepted it had it not been for those shitty sunglasses.
So far, the book doesn't seem THAT bad. The whole pregnancy thing is definitely a ratings gambit, though.
The end
>>78652556
>And then she became best friends with a Gwen from another universe
>>78652665
Pretty much.I miss ultimate jess
Honestly it's not that bad. Silk is annoying as hell though.
>>78650717
>>78651516
>>78653253
Thank you
>>78650485
Aww yeah that lewd foot massage scene. I got everything I wanted out of this comic. Thanks.
>>78653994
You welcome anon.
I don't know if I find this bad or just unremarkable. At least it's only costing me time. Thanks, OP.
>>78649867
Such a great book. Since his first issue this managed to be the worst book in the shitfest Spiderverse event, even worse than Slott's personal turd, ASM.
Why?
Why she changed her uniform?
>>78657667
This
>>78652556
>Belt has the triangle on it
Never noticed until just this second.
>>78651832
>>78651817
>>78651805
This is such fucking bull shit. I honestly like this run of Spider-Woman but this ending pissed me off. What, she was once a victim so it's okay for her to become an oppressor and to create new victims?! Fuck no. Look if Jessica wants to forgive and understand this chick on her own time feel free to but she broke the law and drew blood. She created a pretend safe space and would threaten people if they try to leave. Why don't the male criminals in this story get the same sympathy?!
>>78651695
I thought this was leading to something more subtle or nuanced by showing that a victim who becomes an oppressor is still a bad person. Everyone has a reason for doing something bad, just because it's a sympathetic reason doesn't mean you're off the hook. Fuck.
>>78650596
ok, this interaction between beast and vision is funny
>>78650580
Okay so... Uh why are they in costume if they are making an effort to hide their super hero identity if their just doing civilian shit anyway?
>Lang is shit
>>78651163
it's pretty nice, I'm enjoying it.
>>78649567
Fuck I'd like to be that bike
>>78659739
The ending bugged me too. Cat's boyfriend was undeniably treating her like shit, but what about the villains that were being blackmailed? Were they abusive or just neglectful? If they were abusive, I wouldn't think they'd care enough to commit all those robberies to ensure their loved ones' safety. Since they're not being blackmailed anymore, do they assume their loved ones are dead?
This one's a minor issue, but I also didn't like that we didn't actually get to see Porcupine's ex tell him how he could make things right. I assume she was the one who gave him the idea to go straight. If not, did she just tell him to fuck off?
>>78663088
>>78659739
The story is schizophrenic. It wants to have the stupid lolol these guys are so lame z-listers acting all goofy and harmless and wacky, but then we're supposed to take seriously this big speech about abuse and domestic violence.
>>78652025
Cute keychain.
>>78659739
that is a very common trope in comics. plenty of villains have been forgiven and given a new chance as soon as they have a sob story and agree to change teir life. And even if they don't have the sob story.
That's the whole plot of the thunderbolts for instance, and then there are murderers like magneto, sabretooth, venom, whoever.
And those those girls in the scheme of villainy rank very very low.
You think captain america or spiderman wouldn't do the same thing? If spidey found harry osborn pulling the same scheme on his father do you think he'd act any different from jessica here?
Hell, look at how much he's done for rhino to try to get him to live a nice normal life, and he's a much bigger criminal than all of those women together.
>>78666896
do they sell it?
>>78666960
I hope.
I keep getting Ben Urich and Phil Urich mixed up so I spent most of this story wondering when her employer being a Hobgoblin was gonna become relevent
>>78651508
We all may hate Jessica Drew but to be fair, she's a C list at worst,B list at best.
>>78671083
I like Bendis' Jessica Drew,
>>78672646
Same.
>>78671083
>>78672646
I wonder if marvel is regretting not letting bendis use her for Alias. It would have turned her into an A-lister, instead the tv show went to jessica jones who ha no stories outside of alias itself.
>>78676935
I have trouble fathoming how an Alias with Drew would have gone, the thing with Purple Man would have a really different set of undertones since she has her own set of mind control powers
>>78677189
I lways figured that was one of the reasons bendis wanted to use her, and why the ending was such a jean ex machina.
And jess affecting him with her pheromones would explain some contradictory things in their relationship. Like how she was supposedly just one toy among many, a bit more interesting because she ha superpowers, but not too much, because he could get better girls. And yet he treated her differenty from all other girls, when she visited him in prison he talked like they had some special relationship and remembered her very well and he went to look for her first thing after escaping.
Like, imagine he takes her, she's under his control, but she can resist a bit because she has pheromone powers as well, and she uses them to make him want her to love him.
>>78677573
Huh, you're right that does make more sense
Why does she hates spiders btw?
>>78681551
No idea.
>>78649333
LAAAAAAAAAND!
Sorry, i need to clear out my throat.
