Animation Domination serves you another fresh round of your favorite shark-jumped animated sitcoms that seriously need to fucking get cancelled. (Sunday Funday is not a household name. Shitposters would not be able to find the thread in the catalog if I suddenly changed the name)
BOB'S BURGERS WILL NOT LEAK BRANDON
BOB'S BURGERS WILL NOT LEAK BRANDON
GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE BRANDON
To start the first Animation Domination of 2016, Brooklyn Nine-Nine has permanently left the schedule and The Last C.uck on Earth is on break until the spring. Bordertown premieres today and joins the schedule. Holy shit IT'S ANOTHER CARTOON
The schedule is as follows:
>8:00/7:00c - The Simpsons - The Girl Code (NEW!): When Marge posts a photo on social media, Homer gets fired from his job but goes back to the best job he ever had, washing dishes at a Greek restaurant; Lisa is inspired by Homer to develop an app that predicts consequences of online posting.
>8:30/7:30c - Cooper Barrett's Guide to Surviving Life - How to Survive Your Loveable Jackass (NEW!) [SERIES PREMIERE]: Cooper Barrett, who has been out of college for several years, faces the challenges of finding his dream job.
>9:00/8:00c - Family Guy - Candy Quahog Marshmallow! (NEW!): After Peter, Cleveland, and Joe find a VHS tape of the Asian soap opera "Winter/Summer", which Quagmire starred in while living in Korea, they become hooked but cannot locate the final tape of the series, so they travel to Korea to find it.
>9:30/8:30c - Bordertown - The Engagement (NEW!) [SERIES PREMIERE]: Bud Buckwald, a married father of three working as a Border Patrol agent, fears the changes in his neighborhood and is jealous of his nextdoor neighbor Ernest Gonzalez, who has lived in the country under ten years and is doing better than Bud.
I'm skeptical. Pic related was an absolute gem buried in the shit that was MTV's early 2000s programming. I was excited to hear that the creator was working on a new show, but the trailer really didn't do it any favors.
I'll still give it a shot.
you mean this isnt that canadian show /co/ hates? i thought it was
it's just a bunch of liberal-ass shit about gringos oppressing murderous drugrunners and restricting their freedoms right?
It looks like utter trash and similar to several other failed "guy fresh out of college doesn't know WHAT to do, hyuk hyuk" pilots. I'm amazing this trash keeps getting greenlit, but that's FOX for you.
Bordertown, on the other hand, honestly could be hit or miss. It could very well fall back way too heavily on the politics, but we all thought that's what American Dad would be, so who knows.
Those summaries sound like the most forced plots I've ever heard in my life goddamn it
>It's a Lisa episode
>It's a "Marge did nothing wrong" episode
The Family Guy writers were really boasting about the Korea episode at Comic-Con (as in "this is the "big" episode of the season) since its actually based on personal experiences so that'll probs be decent desu
This has the potential to be a god awful Simpsons episode but at least Kaitlin Olson is getting work
>it's a Peter & co go on an adventure episode
Are those really considered that bad here? The one with the origin of sex jokes and finding God were fun.
I don't know, "adventure" Family Guy episodes are at least interesting. Road To episodes are never bad.
>we all thought that's what American Dad would be
I mean, it was. it got better
The one trying to be mcfarlane.. oh i guess that doesn't narrow it down either. So you're saying this is a new show? because it looks and sounds like something I was hearing about a year ago
>guest starring Stephen Merchant
Oh how the mighty have fallen....
save big money at menaaards
in fairness she has always been the best at that. she taught homer computers, she made a stupid hippie co-op business thing that gave startup nonbusinesses money.. remember? nelson spun it into a bike customizing shop. there's a successful business waiting to happen, right?
Do cartoons STILL do the "le off-brand product name but it sounds like the real world name" shit?
Even Family Guy says brands by name, South Park too. It's 2016 they wont sue you for saying facebook you shitter
>"That's right, I'm a grrrrrl, and I can program!"
okay i get that the joke is that we don't know what it is
but what is mindfulness and why do they keep bringing it up?
okay that was a chuckle
>pretending it's some serious thing
so it's social media?
why did the simpsons go from 'references from before my time' to 'references i don't understand because they're too new' with no break
american dad should do TFA then
>tfw they only taught Java in high school.
>that's why I never try to be funny
and it wasn't. well done homer.
that could happen actually. remember that episode where she realized the scaremongering of anti-GMO idiots? I was proud of the writers on that one
>now to do some actual research..
>what is the delete button
No really, what the fuck
AD has gotten better as it has gone on
i hear it's not canceled yet, it's just not making new eps
>comic book guy
>calls it a male-dominated field while literally dominating it to make sure it's only women
okay, that's funny
So, the moral of this episode is that men are terrible at coding and that women with dyed hair do it better? I honestly feel lost.
Yes, I'm like 88% sure that was supposed to be a reference to a flash game called metropolis or something where you build a city by placing blocks in the short amount of time you were required.
Well that was a stupid twist. Why do I continue to watch this show? Like seriously. I know it's going to be shit. I know I won't enjoy it, but yet I still tune in. What the fuck is wrong with me?
This whole episode makes me cringe inside. They don't even take any wacks at femnisim and the lot of them being crazy cunts.
And they are encourage to make a censorship app... just ugh. This irks me in so many different ways.
>it's a Lisa screws everyone out of a large sum of money episode
Remember when she turned down $12 million from Mr. Burns because of "muh ethics?"
If they wanted to be brave, they should have made it about H1B1 Indians taking all the coding jobs from both men and women. It would have been more accurate and way more topical than this girl power bullshit.
>nearly all intelligent fields are dominated by women
They removed Sam Simon's credit at the end now? That kinda bummed me out
So from here on out, every nice thing that happens for Lisa is because of Conrad's interference.
Ivy League College? Conrad altering her financial information and test scores.
Presidency? Conrad rigging the vote.
You know if the simpsons writers really want to tackle a sexist stereotype maybe they could try challenging the idea that women aren't funny by giving Lisa or Marge a good episode for once.
all we can do is show all the other 'oppressed minorities' how it's done, by being patient and not whining, and just taking over society through the "unwanted" "low-class" jobs like the jews did with entertainment media
seriously i fucking want one now. My life's goal is to give a horse a me-back ride.
they cant even make homer funny, theyre not going to accomplish something even the old writers couldnt do very often
>Lisa becomes president in the future because Conrad rigged the election
D E E P E S T L O R E
MORAL OF THE STORY TONIGHT:
>Women should not be in the workplace because they WILL cause the downfall of society via malicious AI.
>Computer programs have souls.
>Greek people are leeches on society and ought to be eradicated.
Some feminazi caused a gigantic shitstorm of muh soggy knees in the workplace in a tech related field when two men were talking to each other and they referenced their dick or something as their dongle as a joke. She overheard and got angry because she couldn't mind her own business.
But unlike being a professional, she didn't choose to go to HR with the problem to let them deal with it. She went to twitter/tumblr to whistleblow a fuck load and get the other feminists to harass her workplace to fire the guy. So they ended up firing him, but as a fuck you to the bitch, they also fired her for being incredibly unprofessional about the whole situation.
Another tale of why feminism is terrible and why people should mind their own fucking business.
>move an actual funny show to Tuesday
>replace it with unfunny shit
Good going, Fox.
So how long until this show is cancelled? I give it 4 episodes
Why does this whole show scream bro culture and mountain dew?
Because you tuned out when B99 was on and missed the commercials about it. Or you're a streamfag and didn't get the commercials at all.
I can feel my brain melt with every line of this turd. College comedies were funny back in the '80s with Animal House and Revenge of The Nerds. This feels like they had a jar full of gags and made sure to use every one of them.
No, I mean unless skyler grabbing that girls ass was truly a lie.
She did air her dirty laundry on tumblr like an unprofessional twat, but at least that was an offense towards a woman when she was involved in the situation.
>character is introduced in a challenging predicament
>has to explain how he got there
>voice over narration throughout the show
Fake Happy Endings?
Fake fat jovial but insecure black guy
Is tv not funny anymore or do writers not have it anymore?
Yeah well ass grabbing isn't really low level interpersonal physical contact anymore.
Feminists put any unwanted interpersonal physical contact on the levels of rape now. And CEOs of very prominent popular companies know the public is very susceptible to knee-jerk buzzwords that would turn you off of any business from one article they found on facebook.
They wanted to save face before this blew up into something huge and CN had to actually make public statements about their shows. You already know house wives have nothing else better to do but to read about pointless garbage that they think will ruin their child and turn them into scum of the earth.
We grew up, saw past the bullshit, and no longer find it funny. TV is nothing but low brow bullshit that people don't end up thinking too much about so they can be easily pleased by it.
TV is becoming more for idiots who don't want to think and think the big bazooper theroy is funny.
Is Bordertown going to be the worst adult cartoon since Brickleberry?
I've literally heard zero advertising on it. Even Cooper has had more advertising. I legitimately thought this show was cancelled during production since I hadn't heard anything about it since 2012. Seems like Fox is trying to bury this turd.
Pic related is pretty funny.
nothing comfy about khaki
no but you do have to dress "low class". all tailored fabrics are uncomfortable. If it isn't elastic in some way, it's uncomfortable. and if it's anywhere near skintight it's also uncomfortable
but fuck clothes anyway. who needs em?
Yeah, I have no fucking idea what I just watched.
uhh no.. the first season isnt really watchable anymore because so much of the humor is 'haha look' even though it was quite clever
then, up to the cancellation, it was really clever and great
then after teh cancellation it was fucking awful and only got worse until one day it decided to turn around.. and basically from the limbaugh episode til now it was great 19 times out of 20
HOLY CRAP THEY ACTUALLY DID SEARCH THE INTERNETS
Except in this point it does not even need to be physical anymore.
Just so much as looking at someone oddly if they are the opposite sex could land you in the middle of some kind of sexual harassment case. Safe spaces warping reality and reason itself.
>korean culture is the big fad right now.
>How many ridiculous things would you like your toilet to do?
>Donna's mother died
MY NAME IS CLEVELAND BROWN
if this many people recognize him i am now not believing it's not online
also rip in piece donna's mom
Channel description says there's suppose to be a Brain and Stewie subplot.
This is the second time something like this happened. First time was last Thanks Giving episode with Peter's sister.
wasnt one of them an actress
it has been funny for like 8 years now dude. it had a SHIIIITTY period after it came back, but that has reversed hard. whenever they arent being political theyre fantastic-ish
first is donna's fake mom who died in the same episode she was introduced
second is her real mom, who got back into the picture because she was declared dead from fake mom's death
now real mom died i guess
The agency's they belong to pay to have them go under to knife to be more moe and attractive. They all weren't born like that, they were literally made for the agencies and record labels to make money.
Hey it's Kelso. I wonder did Mila Kunis beg Seth to put Ashton on the show
Yeah okay, just like when quagmire was going to go to jail right?
And then a minute before the episode ends "LOL QUAGMIRE YOU AREN'T GOING TO JAIL ANYMORE BECAUSE YOUR MOM FUCKED THE JUDGE!"
nah, but theres lots of koreans in the city i guess. i too always felt like korean pop and dramas were just knockoffs of japanese stuff, but if you ever said that out loud here youd be skinned alive
FX is for dramas and shit. IIRC, comedies that do well in their first season goes to FXX for their next season. I know they did that with You're the Worst. Though, that new Zach show looks like it might be a dramedy.
>YFW This wont Launch into a Spin off about Quagmire in Korea
Fucking Fox... that's three signal glitches so far. I'm in a different city from my DVR right now, I hope they aren't glitching over there.
>it's a "protagonist gets a happy new life and leaves his old one behind but suddenly the negatives of the new life appear right at the end" episode.
>Family Guy has been funnier than the Simpsons for the last couple of years
