I'm almost completely certain about the last fact unfortunately. The kickstarter was great, but a one time investment does not keep a company afloat. They haven't fared well on television as far as I understand, so I don't see them surviving long.

In all honesty I agree but you never know, so I phrased it a bit milder. And while the KS was apparently not an "omg we need money" effort and still went great. I doubt it will drum up the interest it needs from the people that needs to become interested.

As for the company as a whole I could see the animation aspect potentially shutting down, which doesn't inherently mean the company shutting down provided it's not a subsidiary of course which it might very well be for economic reasons. As for the Ankama, I understand the economical force has always been heavily slanted towards their game sector which apparently isn't brilliant I guess since Wakfu got a mild reception from my understanding, might've turned out better now.

Why even does their MMOs feel so ... Meh.

I've sincerely tried to play them and I was a ) a little confused. The classes / what to do with them just aren't intuitive.

And b) it felt constrained visually. Like it was just awkward to not be able to zoom in very much. Environments feels crowded or small. Maybe I just open 3D MMOs more. But still.


Those are my complains off the top of my head.

I just wished Netflix would fund them or some magical unrealistic thing like that.

Dofus was much much better than Wakfu in my opinion, but I may be biased since I played it for years. Unfortunately, it's a bit too late to get into it because the remaining players are all high levelled and with their own crews so without connections it's very hard to do anything

How about we talk about the episodes? Which one was your favorite? (if you can't remember the name, describe it)

Mine were the 3 episodes in Ecaflip City. Poor Kerub lost everything

Also episode 46, what was a 12 minutes episode lasted 42+ for me I had to stop at 9 minutes because something happened between Kerub and Lou that made me felt concerned. Then I had to take a 30 minutes break to actually recover from my emotions

the Wacky races was a bit lame I think, I was expecting an epic way for Kerub to obtain that lipstick mark on his half silver trophy, but instead it was pretty even though I was a bit disappointed

Overall I liked every episodes where Lou made an appearance not because she's the best waifu so far but because I like seeing Kerub try on and on to finally be with Lou again.

Doesn't look like it. I hope they're not going to stop publishing something partway through AGAIN.

Strich hunt was pretty sweet to be honest, a lot of the kid kerubim episodes were a little so-so but I felt that was a good one and made for a gentle start to the adventuring tales without being too serious or too dumb/insignificant.

Snapper in the water was also a good episode and a visually pleasing end, not an overly complicated plot but the mermaids trying to rough him up at first as well as the rogue providing a bit of comedy it ok.

Gullivette was genuinly good waifuing aside, it was a cute episode which kerubim and idie being kids might've added to.

Need a bit of help.

A convention a friend is hosting is showcasing cartoons from countries other than Japan and US, and I'm trying to get Dofus into the mix. Y'know, give the masses a taste of the good stuff.
