The regular version tastes below average. Very weird and citrusy iirc
Fruit punch version is a little better. Kinda fruity but a little bland.
Lemonade version actually tastes very similar to actual lemonade with just a little touch of blandness to it.
The new organic flavors though, I actually really like. Especially the strawberry one. Very sweet and tastes nothing like regular Rockstar, one of the best tasting energy drinks I think.

They are cheap though. The dollar store across the street even has them in I think 16oz cans. If youre a poor boi they're pretty much the most efficient in terms of price/taste/caffeine.

Any Amp boys here? Pic related, was my first energy drink iirc. One day in summer school my friend was sipping on it and he let me have the rest of the can. And holy shit, that taste. Sad too, very shortly after I stopped being able to find the blue one ANYWHERE (and I still cant).

Coffee helped me a ton. Instead of drinking energy drinks, I started drinking a cup of coffee instead. Then eventually reduced it to one cup a day, then to nothing (when I was getting off caffeine since yeah, my tolerance was through the roof and shit was doing nothing for me)
I've heard to totally reset your tolerance it takes anywhere from 6 - 9 months, but just a couple weeks of no caffeine (and before that, one or two weeks of only one cup of coffee a day) and I can feel the effects.

To me energy drinks are a nice fun pleasant time. Good taste, comes in a big can, not overwhelming. Some of them I really enjoy the taste of as regular beverages.
5 hour energy and redline are just if you plain old want energy, cold cut. You can drink a serving of redline in one swig, its only 4oz, no sugar or calories.

I've been drinking the Monster Khaos recently. It's really good imo. A lot of energy drinks and sodas will leave a really nasty taste in my mouth, but it doesn't and it feels really crisp.

Honestly Monster is pure marketing, it is probably one of the worst tasting very popular sip. People used to say Red bull taste like rocket fuel but Monster does, Red bull has a nicer refined taste, but the new hydros are good. Monster does a lot of gimmicky flavors though and I think that's what keeps them competitive. Red bull for the longest time had just regular, sugar free, and the grey one along with the cola back in 2009. Now they have those fruit flavors but not nearly as much as monster throws out.

Well looks like I was full of shit. I do remember seeing a lot of them, even the Rossi edition in local stores, but...

I went to one one of the biggest stores in town to buy some memes, but they only had the original green monster (which tastes like piss) and blue "absolutely zero".
I only bought the blue zero and some megaforces. I'll give you a rating tomorrow.
