I need a fridge, but since I'll be moving in two months or so, I can't just buy one and board a plane with it.

What are some cheapish, disposable alternatives?
Can you store meat in an icebox, for example?

You can, but you'll have to replace the ice or ice packs in it on a daily basis to maintain refrigerator temperatures. Unless you have a freezer already, this is not economical for longer than a couple weeks. I'd just buy a minifridge for under $100, then either give it away or sell it for half what you paid for it when you move.
