ITT: breakfast cereal for adults
I'm getting tired of muesli. Recommend me something.
shredded wheat or weetabix
which reminds me, goddamn I love shreddies.
why have anything else
when i buy cereal i get cornflakes and these little balls of wonder
Don't eat breakfast cereal fatass
Be a man and eat a real breakfast like pic related
Does /ck/ have a new version of sceak now that the old one died of AIDS?
This stuff is great.
Also Oat/Wheat Pillows (they come under various names) are basically little puffed pillows of wheat or oats that soak up the milk and are really tasty.
As with all cereals, limit it or it tastes like cardboard
Not him but I haven't eaten typical supermarket cereals for breakfast since I was a kid.
From a taste point of view, it's a bowl of fucking sugar.
From a nutritional view, it's obviously unhealthy because of all the sugar (even in more "adult" cereals), but it's also not as filling as other less processed breakfast foods.
I'm with the oats master race in this thread. A bowl is less than 200 calories (with a teaspoon or two of brown sugar), add in some cinnamon, maybe fruit if you want to get fancy. Much cheaper than a box of cereal for the servings you can get out of it, and never takes more than 5 minutes to make.
i have not tried the chocolate ones or the protein,
but i love regular/honeynut/frosted/and whole grain. they are all great. Even the honeynut/frosted cheerios have much less sugar than other sugary cereal brands.
i love coffee flavor so next time im at the store ill buy the protein flavor
I eat this stuff with some nuts and dried fruit
Get one very good nonstick pan.
>2 fried eggs (over medium)
>2 slices of dense multigrain toast
>12oz glass of milk
>cup of grapefruit
That is my breakfast most mornings.
I usually take another peace of fruit to work with me.
Cereal is garbage.
The most nuanced and adult cereal one can buy.
I tried this cereal today, it gave me my daily dose
>In today's episode: we cook cereal
Isn't this just Life cereal?
i unironically love grape nuts
a whole 4 ingredients, none of which is sugar
Literally whatever the fuck you feel like eating.
If you're eating cereal for breakfast you should also be eating some eggs or something with it anywyas, so eating some sugary or something normal like grapenuts isn't going to kill you.
I just buy whatever's on sale at the time. Almost all cereal is good.
If we're talking cold cereal, then I usually just get a bag of this every now and then.
Hot cereal is always oats + grape nuts.
