Ate sushis three hours ago and my anus is like the niagara falls
anything I can do about it beside hydratation?
Also it's not a bad idea to seek medical help in all cases of foodborne illness in order to secure a diagnosis and determine whether any treatment is required or the disease is self-limited
You're losing water as well as nutrients, and unless you want to go to the hospital for an IV, a sports drink is going to help replace them.
Gatorade and Powerade are designed to do this. So is Pedialyte but that's probably more expensive.
Getting prepared (read: drunk) to go to the all you can eat sushi restaurant. Hope I don't get the shits like OP!
Pic from last time I went
>all three all you can eat sushi restaurants in the area have closed down
>one health inspector take down
>one burned down
>one's owners just up and vanished
It's not fucking fair!!! I want to stuff my face with raw fish until I have parasites coming out my ears!! The only place around here to still get it is shelling out a minimum of $6 for 8 pieces at Wegmans!
>Very short incubation period
Where did you hear that?
"Usually these symptoms occur within 24 hours of ingestion."
Just like almost every other food illness, 3 hours isn't long enough of an incubation period.
Did you eat a lot of escolar? It gets called white tuna a lot at sushi places. It's delicious in small quantities, but it will give you violent diarrhea if you eat too much. Might not be food poisoning at all.
>mfw master race coastfag and all the sushi is daily fresh even in the shitty places
water+sugar+salt (preferably potassium chloride, but table salt will work). It's basically pedialyte, except much cheaper. Oral rehydration has reduced cholera deaths more than intravenous. The sugar tricks the small intestine to start its osmotic process, and the salt keeps your electrolytes in balance. Go look up a recipe.
Or just drink yourself to sleep like a normal person.
