I worked at Sbarro in the mall for a few years. The pizza really is good when it's fresh outta the oven. Tastier than just about any other bi chain. But 80% of the time you're getting a slice that's been sitting under a heat lamp for and hour and a half. If you haven't, try the ziti. It's da bomb.

I got papa johns for the superb owl and it was alright. Little Caesars deep dish is fucking great. Dominos is solid middle of the road. Pizza Hut is the worst chain pizza but they make up for it with the best breadsticks and wings. CiCi's is gutter trash. Chuck E Cheeses is for child predators, CPK is best from the frozen aisle. Sbarro at the mall.
don't get me wrong, I love them at the mall because nostalgia and it isn't really that bad. but at least at my mall if you don't go at lunch rush you are eating a pizza that has probably spent 7 hours under a hot lamp, they just toss it in the oven for a few minutes to kill the bacteria and wa la. It's also very expensive. Really the freshest pizza these days is take and bakes from grocery delis.

Little Ceasers used to be much higher quality in the 90s. I mean it wasn't a bunch of propylene glycol and whatever chemicals people use now in food. Tasted better. Tasted great.
Papa Johns would be god-tier if they reduced the salt in all their ingredients.
