Any tips on how to make Fettuccine Alfredo? I use ragu and it didn't go so well.

3tbs butter, pan: melt
1c heavy cream, stirred
Dash salt, pinch nutmeg
.25c grated parmesan
.25c grated romano
Stir til melted
1 egg yolk (pre-beat)
Simmer 3-5m
Boil pasta

then mix noodles with philadelphia for 'edo
then add ham for 'ara
make your own sauce; look up recipes online for alfredo sauce. will taste 100x better and have a lot better texture. make sure to find a recipe that uses heavy cream.

Grate parmesan cheese
Put butter slices on large platter
Put hot cooked fettuccine over butter
Put parmesan over pasta
Toss noodles with the butter and cheese
While tossing, add small amounts of reserved pasta water to smooth the sauce
When the sauce has reached the desired consistency, season lightly with fresh black pepper
Eat
ok this isn't a super authentic recipe but it's the one I use:
brown some chicken in a pan and remove when done
deglaze with white wine
melt half a stick of butter
add your Knorr Chicken Stock Pot©, a head of roast garlic, and a cup of cream
now stir in about 6 oz of grated cheese
finally put the chicken back in
