Where do vegans get their b12 aside from laboratory supplements and special ordering plants from far distant lands that they are not from?
they really should eat some sardines.
the b12 is off the charts.
Don't be salty because he didn't give you any b12 you fucking ingrate
You need absolutely minuscule amounts to prevent a lot of the symptoms of B12 deficiency. There is enough trace animal tissue in most food stuffs (e.g. bugs) that even the most bat shit vegans can peter along for years without major issues.
One cup of almond milk in my cereal, and one cup with dinner. This one is sweetened, but the one I normally buy has only 35 calories per cup.
or just take a supplement or fortified food?
b12 is produced from bacteria in the soil, not animals..
also, animals are injected with b12 and a pretty big chunk of the meat eating population is still b12 deficient...
A guy I work with has been vegan for 40 years (he's 60). I asked him what he does about B12. His answer was, "I don't worry about it." Dude is trim, healthy and not taking any medications. I know people half his age in much worse health.
If I were going to go vegan I wouldn't give two shits about B12.
Have you ever been right about anything in your life?
Vitamin B12 is widely used in the cattle industry.
Your body will hang on to B12 and begin to ration it if it gets to low. Any doctor can give you an injection of B12 and you'll great afterward, vegan or not.
The B12 deficiency for vegans et al. is mostly bullshit.
By pouring about 6 pounds of this stuff on everything we eat.
So. Damn. Good.
LITERALLY BTFO EVERYONE IN THIS THREAD. THREAD IS KILL. Still waiting for one valid argument against being vegan. Are you against because you don't care about your own body? you don't care about the environment? or you don't care about needless suffering? pick all three ya dinguses.
>judging others for God and not showing him the path
Yeah you sound like a Christian alright.
>still killing the earth with inefficient farming methods and an oversaturation of fertilizers to keep up up your little special snowflake meme diet
That's just false. B12 comes from bacteria in soil. Most farm animals don't roam around in fields and get b12 from trace amounts of dirt in their food, they get a trough of food fortified with b12.
