Pictured on the left is from the SAME blade grinder. 18g. manually pulsed.

Blade grinders are cheap and quick, but very uneven. They can be effective if you know how to use them.

Thank you. This is what I'm always saying in coffee threads. Blade grinders are not ideal, but they can make passable grounds if you do it right. There is no excuse for buying pre-ground coffee other than extreme laziness. Everyone can can afford a blade grinder. Freshly ground beans is the biggest jump in cup quality of all the brewing variables.

i have a manual burr grinder. it makes perfect grinds, but it takes a full 5 minutes to grind, and a lot of effort.

i couldnt imagine making coffee for 2 or more people with a manual burr. fuck that noise
