I just got given 5lbs of packaged garlic butter.
What can I use it for aside from garlic bread?
Fuck I love garlic, I love butter, and I especially love them together.
Try making it into sauces for pasta, to put on steaks, salads, etc. Just chuck the stuff in a pan with some oil and water, stir it, then pour it over things. Add extra herbs for whatever taste you want. Parsley goes well.
Chicken kiev was a favourite of mine as a kid before I went vegetarian. Garlic fries sound like something to try.
It would definitely freeze for a month or two. Better the faster you use it up though since food goes crap when it's frozen. Butter and garlic both last though, so it should be fine for however long you want to leave it there.
Have fun making delicious meals!
It's 2 small boxes of 9 of these, I think it's real butter but I've never had Lurpak before.
