Help with this recipe: yams, fresh garlic, fresh sage, olive oil, s&p, and a bit of maple syrup. I was just going to mix it all and stick it in the oven. What am I missing? pic was delicious brea/ck/fast

The garlic is the only thing that seems a little out of place. Some crushed and toasted nuts would be good as a topping, and to add some texture.

What kind of sauce is that in your pic?

I fucking love garlic though I put it in everything. Nuts sound good but all I have are cashews and peanuts. And I cheated with the sauce, it's just Sweet Baby Ray's Sweet n' Spicy sauce.
