I recentlystarted eating oatmeal. I now substitute a part of my bread for oatmeal. This because I got tired of only eating bread. I normally take 8 slices a day, becuase I eat a shitload of food. I like it a lot, becuase I now eat something else than bread when I am hungry. The downside is that I need to eat a lot of it to get the feeling that I've got something in my stomach. I eat now like 200g a day.
Tl;dr
I've got some basic variations with milk or quark. Do you have a nice recipe you like to use?
It is said that oatmeal is healthy, but is it really? What do you think? What do you like to eat for breakfast?
Dissolve an anchovy or two into your oatmeal while it's cooking.
It'll do wonders for the flavor and be more satisfying.
Whenever I make a bowl of oatmeal, I mentally divide it into four quarters. On each quarter I sprinkle a different combination of spices like basil and turmeric or, I don't know, cumin and thousand island dressing. I hope I'm refining my pallet and becoming a spicemaster since I can't eat eggs and become a spicemaster the traditional way.
Ebin May May fest in here xdd
put some butter in it. I usually add dried fruit to mine.
and yeah it is a pretty healthy food, high in protein, decent fibre, good glycemic index
not a ton of vitamins or anything though
