People need to stop categorising shit like this like it's a whole new spin on the recipe. The monstrosities you choose to devour are your business but what you have there is fries with a spillage brisket on top.
Italian Poutine is very good. Montreal greasy spoons have a very particular style of spaghetti sauce so I'm not sure if you can find a proper one elsewhere. But apart from Italian, I find any addition or variation on a classic pouter is actually a subtraction. I’ll take a classic Belle Province or LaSalle Drive-In style poutine over an overwrought Banquise creation any day.
