What's your favorite local fast food joint? For me, it has to be Ronnie's Burgers.
I have a soft spit for Wendy's hamburgers. Fries are only meh though.
Whataburger's my favorite.
I never ever eat fast food, but I may stop in a Whatburger every few months.
It's a figure of speech.
Culver's is absolute god tier. The only other place I ever go to is Wendy's
No fucking idea what's local for the most part, so I'll just post what's close to me, and the shit I like.
Popeye's (Shrimp, tenders, fries, anything is good)
Wendy's (seriously, Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger is fucking god tier with chicken nuggets and honey mustard)
Culver's (Bacon Deluxe Value Basket)
I had Whataburger a few times while visiting family in Texas, and I liked it a lot, especially while drunk. Love that they have jalapenos.
There's this place called Sam's Tastee Treat nearby me that is pretty awesome. It's a teeny little place that's been run by this dude and his wife (pretty sure it's literally just them, too) for years and years. They sell burgers, fries, shakes and all the usual fare, but also stuff like egg rolls, crab rangoon, fried mushrooms, tacos and lots of other stuff...I've only ever gotten the double cheese burger and fries meal, but I've always wanted to branch out.
They only accept cash, which is both kind of neat and kind of a pain in the ass since I don't usually carry cash. I think they were trying to sell the place a while back - not sure if they still are, because I haven't been in for a long time (abstaining from fast food for the last year and all), but I sure wouldn't mind getting one more meal there.
Also, the fries are crinkle cut, which I kind of dig. Sometimes they're a bit burnt, but never inedible. If I had to compare the burgers to a chain, I guess I'd say Sonic, but Tastee Treat definitely superior.
As a pig disgusting cross country trucker who eats way too much fast food cause I value extra fapping/sleeping time more than a good meal, here is the OFFICIAL list
>1. Long John Silvers
Their fish is good, but I fucking love their chicken. Nothing like getting a Chicken & More meal with a side of corn. Their fries and hushpuppies are decent too. They have pretty decent sweet tea as well.
OK french fries, but good burgers, and a fresh spicy chicken sandwich is pretty much the best fast food sandwich you can get. Also they always seem to have homebrew'ed lemonade which is nice
>3. Burger King
Shit fries, but Two Rodeo Cheeseburgers and a Large Onion ring with fuckloads of Zesty sauce hits the spot. Plus most BK's have a Coke FreeStyle machine.
>4 Popeyes Chicken
Damn good chicken
>5. Taco Bell
Everything is ok, but you cannot eat a filling meal without feeling shitty
I didn't know Lunch Meat could be so greasy. Can be edible with enough Arby's Sauce
I'd rather fill up on old slim jims and faucet water from a truck stop than eat there. Fuck if thats my only option I'd rather scavenge around my floor/cot for candy or chips or something I dropped and didn't completely step on
Only one real local fast food place, but two regional.
Pretty good stuff in general though it tends to be a little expensive. Burgers, fries, fried chicken, BBQ, shakes, pretty standard stuff. I usually get a chili cheese burger because there's other places for fried chicken and BBQ.
Regional, but I fucking love it. They have a diverse menu, and it's cheap as fuck. They also have "Cookout Trays" which are ridiculous. It's $6 and you can pick a main item and two sides (which include chicken wraps and quesadillas) or two main items.
They expanded like crazy around me in the last few years. It's chicken, and chicken accessories. They're quite upfront about this but I still see people trying to order other shit. That being said, they serve excellent food and it's great for a quick breakfast or lunch.
>Honorable mention. Waffle House
They're fucking everywhere in the South and fairly quick and inexpensive, but quality varies like crazy.
If you hate people in general its not horrible. I have my own truck, with a nice cot in the cab.
I have a TV w/ a PS3, and an Alienware laptop (I know, >Alienware, but a Desktop takes too much power and I like to PC game)
Its decent, I make over $100k a year, and get a couple weeks off in a row. Its not bad
>everybody lists chains
well to me and presumably other folks with common sense, it means a restaurant that only exists in your town with a few stores max, maybe just one, probably owned by the guy behind the counter
Okay time for a full list
1. Wendys -Two go wraps and some nuggets and im good
2. Chipotle/Mesa Fresh... either salad or burrito
3.Five guys- When I want greasy food and meaty burgers
4.My movie theater- it counts
5.Chick Fil-e - I dont eat there often but its good, love the spicy chicken
>tasteless over priced burgers
Well well well, look who's never been to Five Guys.
