I was eating some pasta today and took too big a bite and didn't chew very well and I almost died, it didn't get stuck in my throat but it went down as a huge lump and I could tell if it was just a tiny bit bigger that would have been it, was a real wake up call. Not using your imagination. I've been doing this for years. You are correct, eating the pizza upside down DOES make the toppings fall off. The better option is to suspend yourself from your ankles so the slice is still correctly oriented to the ground, while being able to enjoy the pizza to its maximum potential.
