How can i find an electronic kettle that doesn't sound like a plane taking off?
It's not like I can bring a bottle of water to the store and try every model out. Wish I could though.

I'm curious why noise is an issue.
Get something like pic related.
It doesn't make any noise until it let's you know that it's ready.

Having to raise your voice while chatting in the kitchen is an issue.

Or you could just plan 2 minutes ahead and boil water in a pot, instead of cluttering up your counter space with useless crap that you apparently need to wear a tin foil hat while using?

Or just search for "quiet kettle" and read the reviews. wa la

Just how many packs of instant ramen are you going through?

Zero, I do enjoy drinking tea though.

Do you mean a type of whistling noise? I've never come across an electric kettle that makes that noise, only stove-top ones.

Actually OP that's the kettle I have and it's p great. Maybe you're a faggot.
I saw a kettle with a big 50% LESS ENERGY* sticker on it, the small print being
>if boiling 250ml for a cup instead of 500ml
Bunch of chancers.

Why don't you just heat up the water in a Pyrex measuring cup in the microwave?
Only takes like 2 minutes for a cup.

Because I enjoy drinking tea.
