Whenever you go to a restaurant, do you normally order an appetizer, entree, and dessert?

Why would I order two starters?
>>
Only entrees and drinks. Not a fan of $5 4 wing plates or deep fried cheese sticks with microwave marinara. Not a fan of flash frozen cheesecakes or tyra misu either
>>
>>7243079
Why would you eat two starters and no main dish?
>>
>>7243145
If that's what they offer as appetizers, I assure you your entree isn't exactly haute cuisine.

Get over yourself.

Ptotip: Aussies call Appetizers entrees
>>
Usually just starter main and coffee or a digestif

I get dessert if it sounds interesting or there's amazing cheeses

Not got a sweet tooth

Pretty much everyone, surely? The word literally means "entry" in French: it's the dish that is the "entry" to the meal. The first dish.
>>
Is there any actual different between an entree and an appetizer?
>>
>>7243079
Usually an appetizer and a main. I almost never order dessert, unless the place has a specific dessert that I love, or it's a special occasion.
>>
>>7243079
Yes. I only eat out 3 times a year so I try to eat the bread, soup/salad, and a side dish and take the main thing home for later. Love having a cold steak around 1 AM
>>

Sounds like you need to eat at better restaurants.
>>
Usually just a main (''''''''''''entree'''''''''''') at lunch.

Usually a starter (''''''''appetizer'''''''') and main for Dinner.

Rarely a dessert unless there's something very appealing or it's a tasting or set menu.
