Alright faggots it's like 8 days until AX and I need 1 more person to fill up my suite at the JW Marriott.

Room has 7 other people. The suite is seriously huge though, so it won't be a space issue. We have the room from june 30th to july 4th with early check in and late checkout. The spot is $221 total for 4 nights. You are not guaranteed a bed spot, but last time we were able to get at least 6 people beds or bed-like places to sleep, so your chances of sleeping on a bed are decent.

Your keycard grants you access to the members lounge on the 4th floor, which has a free buffet during their serving hours and free snacks/drinks/whatever 24 hours.

Room is co-ed, split 50-50 ish in terms of gender ratio. Most people in the room are 4channers, some are not though. Only rules are to be clean and to not bring randoms back to the room without acknowledgement of all roommates.

they are inbetweens. you will have shitloads of them when you make an animation. if you're animating on ones you will have 24-30 frames per second and for a 24 minute episode you could have 34560+ frames. of course no one animates on ones all the time so you'll probably have less (or more if different elements being animated are on different layers but you get the idea. you're going to have a ton of inbetweens.

as someone who has been in the autograph grinder: yes. if you want to guarantee someone you have to go early. if you don't mind missing out then you can go later. i've gotten there about 7am and got most of the people i wanted. a few I missed out but switched to a secondary when I got near the front. someone like TMR last year you had to be there early af because he only had one session.

I figured this would be a good place to ask. I have roomed at the Westin Bonaventure in the past, but the person who headed the room handled everything. This time around I'm with a new group staying at the Westin and it is all their first time.


We tried calling the Bonaventure the other day to confirm our reservation but we didn't come up. We gave the confirmation number from the AX email, and the email states not to contact the hotel until after 6/19 (we actually called yesterday to just ask questions about check in, only to be told they can't confirm or find our reservation). Is there some other confirmation that we are missing or is this normal that we can't confirm this early? I don't know if picking run of house made a difference either as to why our reservation isn't showing up. We ended up picking it at the chance of getting a double since, at the time of hotel registration, day 2 was sold out for doubles and a friend suggested trying run of house.
