old one is saggin'
It's a bell layered over an a-line. It tends to get squished at the back after I sit down for some reason. It's probably a layering issue. Unfortunately there's not much I can do about it without a mirror at all times.
>this is honestly the best I've seen someone make this trainwreck of a print
thats because she's covering 90% of it
My bad, double post
that's you anon? just trying to help but you should really consider reducing your poof game or at least getting an underskirt
that poof makes the dress WAY too short and provides a really unflattering silhouette. we shouldn't be able to see that far up your thighs.
You might need to get a new petticoat entirely, to account for the length an underskirt will add. I have a few different petticoats for dresses of different shapes and lengths. There's a lot of good underskirts on taobao. Good luck! It was a cute coordinate otherwise.
this needs some serious work to not look so cheap.
your pettis are too short for the skirt. also, try not to layer different shaped pettis unless the a-line is longer and you are wearing it with a tea-length main piece. layering a cupcake and aline is a way to give better shape to things more affected by gravity (underskirt coords and long dresses)
stick to layering similar shapes only. the amount of poof isn't the problem, it's just the horrible shape the combo created.
love the boots on the right, and the coat+vest+blouse combo on the left,
but this pair seems to be tripped up by a costumey mindset. some of the choices are pretty misguided
>mixing kodona roll-hem shorts with mature, elegance
>tacky trim on tricorn
>tail-less blouse untucked
>mismatched light neutrals
and the top offenses:
>random off-kilter ram horns and fucking yoga pants?????
great effort but polish tastes and execution for the win.
really speaks to the young potential emos about how to sew thorns to ur clothes and how to be tragic at all times
>iirc she had combat boots with nails sticking out of them, and a scarf covered in thorns
>to do farm work
The skirt has red stripes in it, so I dont think the red is shoe horned? Plus the navy skirt has a black underlayer. I do feel like she should have more navy too though because the black and navy together is a bit awkward rn.
>salt is good for your vag
>everybody should salt their vaginas up
The only thing that could truly make this better is for her to stop being morbidly obese. Even her face is being suffocated by fat and she has no neck left. At that point even the most carefully custom-tailored clothing is going to look bad on you.
I am. I'm sick of seeing those gross ass piercings with lolita. It's not cute and doesn't go at all. I can forgive non-matching glasses, but i cannot forgive those god awful piercings.
answering your request
but just so you know it's not that hard to go and get pics from CoF to dump...
for some reason, this girl reminds me of a cuter Voldie

>That fugly beret. Why
>This chick is wearing her bonnet like a visor. Someone send over some help.
Its ok, her goal is just to promote shitty GLW wigs anyway, I dont think she cares
>everyone thinks they know what ero is.
while she isn't wearing bloomers and the skirt length is definitely shorter than average, this coord barely "screams" ero.
does wearing a bow in your hair make a coord sweet? no. if there were other general styling additions like leather elements, visible hoop skirt, sleeveless/mesh/net blouse, etc I'd agree with you.
there's no element of "not yet fully dressed" here.
I was thinking more of the overall combination of short skirt, waist corset, transparent blouse, lace stocking showing its border.
Maybe it's just a bad coord, since I cannot say it's goth, but I get this fetishist vibe from it.
>gross unstyled hair
>no makeup except for lipgloss
>the jsk looks bad on her
>weird fur thing
>all the gold randomly on the legwear
>awkward headpiece (maybe would have been helped by better hair styling)
Honestly most of this would be fine enough if it weren't for how unflattering the jsk fit looks on her. Just because you can get something onto your body doesn't mean it looks good on you. It looks like it cuts off half of her boobs and makes her waist look even larger than it probably is.
I usually love his coords, this one not so much.
hot damn do i hate the overuse of the word salty on cgl
not that anon but she's def a little chubby. not enough to make a big deal out of though, lolita does a good job at concealing mild rolls
Her best coord of all time.
That's cute, but why not get a second pair of shoes in ivory for the most special day of your life lol. I get that brand shoes are expensive but it's a coord you will remember forever
Can someone tell her those shittty sidepieces are not doing any favors?
I told her so, but she argued that the shoes were actually dark blue, to match the flowers etc.
I'd go with a full white coord, but anyway, it's her wedding. I don't feel nice criticizing it since the pics will be forever in her album.
THIS IS NOT OUJI.
My stepmom looked over at this and went off about how much she loves it, "why dont you dress like that anon!!!" (which is weird because I dress really similarly, just in different colour schemes and usually dantier shoes...)
they honestly did.
there is no excuse for ita-ouji getting any more asspats than ita-lolita. shorts+waistcoat does not ouji make. it is 2016 and coords like this are like wearing a floral church dress and calling it lolita.
a better example for this analogy because that dress is too nice
This would have been so much better without the corset... it makes her look like two children in disguise honestly
So did you think the polka dots are just a weird skin condition or
>Had been planning to go to a meet today, but ended up having a bad mental health day, so decided to stay home. However I quite liked the outfit I'd been experimenting with. I love Mori style clothing so wanted to mix that in with lolita.
Concrit welcome but please be gentle with me, still new to all this :)
Please don't talk about your mental health on COF. No one cares.
What the actual fuck is it with people like this. She had to get interested in lolita somehow, she had to see good coordinates that people put a lot of effort and thought into at some point. But she goes "yeah I'll just wear a white normie shirt, white normie tights, ballet flats and do nothing with my hair or face. That's the same thing right?"
How can anyone even consider this as being in the same vein as the lolitas who work hard to put beautiful coordinates together.
I remember about 11 years ago being a high school weeb and wanting to do lolita so bad after stumbling upon it and simply loving it, so I can kiiinda get how people post shit like this. I’d go to a thrift store and pick up some lacy bs blouse and would sew up a plain-ass cupcake skirt and when I’d try it on be like, “Omg, my outfit kinda has the right shape, so close, I feel good, this is awesome”.
I imagine thats what the girl was probably feeling; thankfully I never posted photos of my garbage outfits. I always have hope for itas like this that they’ll just get better and better over time.
The coord looks like she put on all her black friday clearance bag buys and called it "experimenting" but what gets me is the hair??? Like I can't put my finger on it but that mass of dick curls in the front with that beret just looks really off to me
She's probably an excited newbie who just wanted to wear her skirt out but didn't have a full coordinate yet. A lot of beginners don't really understand that while it's fine and dandy to do so, hold off on posting photos and sharing them on sites like this until you have a good polished coordinate as well as a good photo.
I wish I had the guts to call them out on it, but it would get my ass banned.
>> I was lazy hahaha But I saw you missed me and the big deal I do about my gender (it's not my fault that it's a girl based comm and I have to remind you every time that I'm not a girl, right? xD)
Like, bitch, no one but you brings your gender up in this comm. Fuck off
Let the fatties have their haenuli. Shit I would much rather see them in it than doing something like the girl wearing Rosy night masquerade sk as a dress because she's too fat to wear it properly
It's kinda funny that you can tell that the flash went off and blinded her, so she ended up making that face. Then I guess she must have looked at the picture and been like, "Ehh, good enough! CoF here I come!!!"
Why would you not take another picture?
Looks like they belong to the fur capelet. I can understand not knowing how to tie a proper bow (even though I think it's a great skill to have for lolita) but why just leave the ribbons like this?
Actually, I'll stop myself before I go on a tirade about how sloppy the loose ribbons look because the entirety of this "coord" is sloppy.
Seeing her coords and prettiness makes me want to quit my dream of being a lolita.
>will never be as perfect as her
Yeah she is probably the best lolita i can think of, and one can't help comparing oneself to her, but i dont feel bad about it since i dont share her body type or beauty which are merely genetic and out of my control.
She IS beautiful but if looking at her makes you want to quit before you even started then maybe you shouldn't bother at all. Lolita isn't a competition, if you think otherwise it's probably not for you.
I agree, don't compare to her in that way. Everyone can be that flawless with tons of make up and filters. Of course she's beautiful, but she's far from being perfect, especially IRL.
Don't put her on a pedestal and feel bad about yourself. I am sure you have your own beauty, just work with it and learn how to be your own kind of beautiful.
I don't think her face is too masculine, but I do think the coord is bad. I think for me it's mostly the wig; for such a casual coord the wig is massive, very not casually styled and just makes her head look weird. This coord would improve so much with either a plan straight or bob wig.
