lets post cosplays that Blows the fuck out of people bitching about unrealistic female char.
>i dont think it is shooped
God, it's like you're so fresh and new to the Internet
It's so funny to me that people cosplay Jessica with really wide hips. People pad out their butts for Jessica, but the character has a slim waist and hips. She doesn't particularly have just a really nipped in waist, she's huge boobs on a slender body. So why don't people just pad their boobs and leave the rest?
>Posts examples of how female characters have realistic proportions compared to shoop disasters or freaks of nature.
This thread is a mess.
Spiderman's pose looks natural but the way she's posed literally looks like she's breaking her spine and neck.
Drawing her in spidey's position would have pretty much conveyed the same thing so the reason for this unsexy exaggeration escapes me. Also
>Her split ass
They're in exactly the same position. Her ass being slightly more raised is a consequence of her ass being more pronounced than spidey's, a consequence of female anatomy and nothing else.
If her ass is supposed to be raised they her torso is supposed to be bent and lowered. Spidey is hunched over while she is stretched out rather flatly until you hit her waist. The way it's drawn makes it seem like her ass is disembodied from the rest of her and just flying away.
>consequence of female anatomy
> Get triggered by a comic
> You sound upset
you sound upset
no.. there's plenty of sexy superheroines that i love. im not attracted to women with broken spines and necks who were just drawn poorly. stop putting words in other people's mouths to try to win an argument.
They clearly aren't in exactly the same position. He's clinging to a ball with his legs extremely stretched and crotch down. She's just on all fours, legs not particularly spread, ass up. His pose looks very animalistic and dangerous compared to her just posing like any other pinup lady. It's not like her posing like him wouldn't look sexy considering the body she's got. They just chose to go with something incredibly bland and weak looking for her.
Sexualization or not aside her head just looks disconnected and weird.
stylized anatomy is fine, and i get that they're not going to look like perfect humanoids. but there's a difference between drawing huge balloon tits and drawing a woman that looks like she crawled out of a horror movie or a wood chipper in an attempt to be sexy. you can draw sexy girls without making them look downright scary. pic related: same pose, still sexy, without looking like she dragged herself out of trash compactor.
She can't even make the right pose because her fat is in the way. This chick is bonafied fat and definitely considering medically "overweight " at the very least. The only thing unrealistic about her body is thinking you'd realistically stay healthy being that fat. Not even the anon you replied to.
That's pretty common from what I've seen, in both men AND women, but it's the first time I've heard people being seriously outraged by it and not "haha, look at this, isn't is funny? Legs don't do that". Again, you're in the wrong medium if you expect the anatomy to be 100% perfect.
>what is reading comprehension
Stylized anatomy is fine, as I said before, and she's still stylized in the pic i showed. What's making people laugh is how shittily the artist just went 'uhh let's draw her ass first and i guess fill in the rest like.. this? what's a spine or a neck haha!"
I reiterate: Broken spines are common in comic books, I've said this twice, and I still don't know how you don't understand that. The only reason people are getting pissy over it is because it's a woman. They're 100% okay if it's a man that's being sexualized/being used as a power fantasy.
Exactly what comic book has men being sexualized at the sake of their anatomy? And before you point to overmuscled dudes- that's not sexualized, that's power. Power fantasies are different than sexual fantasies. Girls don't look at deformed Spider Woman and go 'man, if only I could be her! I'd be so powerful!' But dudes look at ripped Batman and say 'I wish I were Batman, I'd be so cool!'. I'd love to see a mainstream male superhero who has his spine either twisted or arched past any realm of belief just to be sexy, not powerful
She can't make the pose right because the pose that is drawn is pretty much impossible for a human with Chun Li's proportions to attain. The only real people I've seen posed like that are skinny ass dancers or gymnasts. Like, if Chun Li was a real person who looked exactly like she does in the drawings, she would not be able to make that pose.
From the looks of her picture, that girl isn't even that big. She just has a big ass and thighs that look pretty toned, which happens to real people when they work out those muscles.
Thanks for proving my point, you're upset about a woman being sexy for the sake of being sexy. You can do one of two things: accept that these things weren't drawn for you, or start protesting all the bishis that are being drawn to cater to women's sexual fantasy. Or I guess you can do none of the above and just keep whining about it on the internet.
>drawn wearing body paint rather than clothing.
that's a joke that's been going around for years. It's not true.
go back to Tumblr, shit for brains. We don't want you here. Don't reply, get mad, or pout. Just leave.
Way to cherrypick what to respond to. In >>8831570 I showed a redraw that was definitely still sexy, but didn't make the viewer wonder what happened to her bones. Also, both to you and >>8831630, I'm a lesbian- I love sexy women when they're drawn within a reasonable stylization and I already don't like bishies, so... ok
Are you retarded? Agility is not flexibility. If this was a female Mister Fantastic this might be a different story, but since she has regular human bones her neck should not be curved that way.
Efficient=speed. She's not moving around fighting someone, she's posed and still on a rooftop. And it still doesnt explain the neck. I wouldn't be complaining if she was twisted around in midair to be fighting a villain- that's agility. Weird squatting/crouching on a rooftop isn't being agile
Not who you're arguing with, but power in men IS sexy. It's pretty much the absolute sexiest, at least traditionally. So the whole "men aren't sexualized in comic books" argument isn't a great one. I admit to having masturbated to male comic book characters many times in the past, and it's not because of their asses (though Spider-Man and Deadpool have great asses in skintight suits), it's because that power fantasy works very well as a sexual fantasy.
And while I might not look at Spider Woman's broken spine as power, and agree that that picture is really dumb-looking, I'd kill to be Domino. She's cute and capable.
the power of moving quickly and easily; nimbleness:
able to move quickly and easily
Characterized by quickness, lightness, and ease of movement; nimble.
able to move about quickly and easily
>Even fucking WIKITIONARY
The quality of being agile; the power of moving the limbs quickly and easily; nimbleness; activity; quickness of motion; as, strength and agility of body.
Literally every fucking dictionary on the internet defines it that way. Your single fucking cherry picked example is not a counter, it's a logical fallacy.
There's a difference between finding power sexy and the primary goal of a drawing being 'make this girl sexy', though. Not saying that it's impossible to find Batman hot, but he wasn't drawn with the idea of 'make him sexy' in mind
Muscles are not bones, anon. Unless she has the power of inhuman flexibility a la Mister Fantastic or Mrs. Incredible, she would not be able to move her body like that because her fucking skeletal structure would not allow it.
Please point me to where it says that Spiderwoman's bones have been altered.
>Flexible - like a SPIDER
Spiders aren't that flexible m8. They have long legs that have more joints than a human leg. That's why they can move how they do. So unless she suddenly gains a shit ton of extra joints (which she wouldn't because that wouldn't look very sexy) she's not going to be able to move like that.
I hold the opinion that power and sex are inseparable, so "make him look powerful" is the same as "make her look sensual" to me. Even if I didn't feel that way, though, what does it matter what some jobber in the comic book industry is thinking when he's drawing? Don't let some guy that never learned basic anatomy dictate how you feel.
I want Taskmaster to choke me out over a table. Some guy might want to stick his dick in Firestar's butt. That's life, whether the artist wanted us to want that or not.
> Don't let some guy that never learned basic anatomy dictate how you feel.
There's a big difference between intentionally sexy and "power fantasy that just happena to be."
It's like.... the difference between Apollo and Midnighter.
Looks like she's climbing over the edge of a building, so yeah that'd probably happen to anyone, just like if someone was using a ladder, their asses would also be out for everyone to see.
>Exactly what comic book has men being sexualized at the sake of their anatomy?
HAHA! confirmed for not knowing who Dick Grayson is. i'm not even gay and i have to admit his ass is amazing.
>it's not shooped as much as her photos normally are!
Shoop is shoop. You can't post her as an example of a real version of an unrealistic body type when she photoshopped her body. That's literally the opposite of the whole point of your thread.
although i agree with the op that american comics are chock-full of uninspired "sexy" girl bodies with no exact male equivalent, you can't deny that nightwing is mostly defined by his ass.
Yes you can, please go back to tumblr now that you've made your point and derailed a thread turning it to about you and your opinions, that noone asked for kek.
its a shit thread to begin with, it shouldnt be on cgl in the first place. hopefully the neckbeard fanboys will go fuck off to /s/ if they want to look at horrible shop and camgirls in 'cosplay'
>replying to someone without linking the post youre replying to
guess its hard to use the computer with one hand. go back to /s/, honestly their cosplay thread is more suited to your 'needs' and wont get people derailing your thread.
heh, youre actually right. if this was some dark, creepy twist on spiderwoman, this could be really cool. like a thief turns into an alleyway and sees breakneck twisty spiderwoman ready to pounce and it freaks the shit out of him.
its a shame that the artist's intent was sexy, though. he should go into horror with his art style
Cosplay I did rushing right now.
Maxine from Life is Strange.
Just a quickie, a filter and thats it. Hope you guys enjoy it ^^"
Deadpool also has a mighty fine booty. At least when you can't see his gross skin.
When making the comic book Spider-Girl, they knew that they couldn't draw her in the exact same poses as Spider-Man. Yes, that was because she was underage, but it's also because the female body and poses it is in are taken completely different when a woman is doing it. Milo Manara's Spider-Woman cover was almost a tracing of a previous pornographic image he had done somewhere else. While Spider-Woman is a mature super hero, I like the Spider-Girl approach more when it comes towards posing her, even though they have had some awkward moments too.
This girl is gorgeous and worked really hard on her body, props. But those pants are too baggy, missing the knee pads, and her gloves are baggy, too. My point is, on a more average looking person the costume would be criticized heavily. Goes to show how far looks can take you
Even so, the same can be said for women. The issue is how women take it. A lot of men are still probably insecure about their masculinity from buff men the same as women are about their femininity. Same with that there may be women who use the sexy females in comics as a 'power' fantasy. Comics can be for both men and women to have power fantasies over, because all the people in them are over perfected and sexy, but they're not for insecure people of either gender.
While I agree that being attractive makes your costume look better, I think the fact that she matches the silhouette very very well is more of a bonus in her favor.
Silhouette is one of the most difficult to achieve, and also the number one thing that makes a cosplay look good.
