I looked through all the Jfash threads (minus Lolita) and it seems like most--if not all--the models are east Asian.
Can we get a thread where we post other races wearing various J-fashion styles? White, black, hispanic, doesn't matter. I just want to see what it looks like on other people.
(Also please don't turn this into a race war. It's not meant to hate on Asians)
I mostly have lolita stuff saved, and just a bit of fairy kei. So sorry, other than lolita, this is about all the non-Asian J-fashion I have.
I love pretty black gyarus. Wish Google had better pics that showed their outfits instead of just their faces.
Suppose I selfpost here all the time anyway
That style looks really good on that skin tone!
Tbh I think most black gyaru aren't 100% confident with their bodies in gyaru fashion.. At least the ones that I talk to. So the coords aren't as over the top or don't use brand (because they simply don't fit) and sometimes the gyaru brands can really put the style together, especially for substyles like kuro and amekaji, where there are specific silhouettes and aesthetics.
I always love Lisha's coordinates though, she really knows her stuff :3
Ari's hair and make is always so cute
There are a few white moris posted in the current mori thread.
The style looks cute on Asians but I think that kind of look is best suited for pale Scandinavian women with blonde or red hair. I think it would look nice on dark skin too.
Probably too specific of a request, but does anyone have pics of white girls pulling off rokku gyaru or similar styles? I'm in love with the style, but I feel like it might look too Western punk or goth on me.
It depends on the aesthetic goal. Personally, I love very dark skinned girls in pale clothing with soft makeup, but the makeup has to be a certain type or else they look trashy as fuck.
lmao that contour line. This is straight up bad gyaru. Also unless you're gay no one poses like that. Poorly executed in so many ways.
is so much nicer
I have you saved so many times in my lolita folder it isn't funny. I have dark olive skin and desu you're one of the people that make me want to not bleach it.
On the contrary, I heard Phoenix is responsible for some drama within the UK fairy kei comm. She even got posted on BTB, but removed the comment explaining why (strangely enough, not the secret itself.)
Old pic + selfpost. I want to try to redo this look someday hopefully. It was my first attempt at the hair (using an old wig OTL) and one of my first attempts at the makeup so it wasn't very good and I didn't bother keeping any closer up shots for that reason.
>black girls in gyaru
Hell yes, hell fucking yes, I love this shit
I think I have some in my inspo folder, but I'm in the same situation. That being said the fashion's so close to dead anyways that I've just decided not to give a shit. I'm also a fan of the more lowkey/casual looks, so some of this might be too toned down for your tastes.
Also some plus size (I've noticed a lot of white rokku gal are, awkwardly), but I love this girl's hair color.
Another note; some of these pictures are fucking ancient, I scrolled through the entirety of the tumblr rokku gyaru tag.
I know she's not interested in being posted on /cgl/, but any rokku thing about white girls that doesn't include her is just not complete. I have a fuckton of pictures saved, but I'll only post this one.
And that's all I've got! (I didn't notice how overwhelmingly my folder was asian girls until I was asked, goodness.) Like I said, leans more casual, more offbrand usage, personal taste stuff. The thing I've noticed that's important to differentiate between rokku and just alt/goth is the makeup, but that's always the case for gyaru. Also make use of lots of skirts, lots of platforms, and keep a more feminine, drapey silouette. (I'm also just really personally into drapey, and the folter reflects that.)
Phoenic is a wonderful person. Sure I don't agree with her on some points (the way she addresses the trans condition means you have to subscribe to gender binary and/or stereotypes to subvert them in the first place) but she's a warm, open, chilled, fun person who doesn't go looking for trouble but will stand up for her beliefs and call out bullshit. If you don't get on with her, your own autism is the problem.
I'm going to try not to take that to heart because a) that angle does make my face look puffy and b) they call her the lion lady and I prefer animals to humans anyway.
I've got some Indian but I'm not sure if just off the coast of Venezuela counts as latina.
Thankyou both so much for being encouraging. There is still a little paranoid voice inside of me that says people will just scroll right past the mutt
This means alot to me; I'm glad I could indirectly help somehwhat with your insecurity because I still struggle with it myself. I look at my mother and brother who are lighter and people consider them more mixed or even white whilst I got called the N word a lot in school. People still say hurtful things like the white part is the 'only good I've got in me' (a week ago). It is nice to know that even if I'm dark and not very well off some people think I'm cute, but more importantly, people can look at themselves and say that they can be cute, too.
I just have to post our queen!
It's amazing what people actually allow themselves to utter in this day and age. Like as a woman I should get back inside the house (at 1pm in the park near my house) and that I shouldn't wear shorts, I should wear skirts. I guarantee that old man would have yelled at me for the outfit posted too tho
Thankyou! I have a kitty but that's not him; I rescued this one (playing in traffic) and it likes to show up at my house for cuddles.
Pic related is lovely in every single way. I see her as lolita senpai.
Who gives a shit.
Post j-fashion not worn by asians.
Her name is Delandra but we call her Barbie. She got "married" to a soldier/airmen so she could stay in Japan and keep being an idol so that's probably why she was in that area.
We see white lolitas more often than Asian lolitas. If you're going to post white girls at least make sure it's another type of J-fashion.
Also she needs to take that disgusting piercing out.
spor the ten year old /b/ crossboarder
ive seen a pretty equal number of white and asian girls in lolita, asians certainly pull some looks off better, particularly in boystyle imo
Is she fuck a lolita. What, does milanoo sponsor her?
The only thing she does is bag free clothes and cosplays from sponsors, she's just a glorified advertisement desu, nothing more.
I don't have a septum piercing, but I have a nose piercing. Snot is not an issue unless you have a bad cold or something. Just wash your jewelry when you wash your face, and it stays clean. Depending on your jewelry, the part you see shouldn't even touch the inside of your nose. But I don't know, maybe septums are different.
I have a septum piercing [see attached image], and I've never gotten so many compliments on an accessory before! I have yet to wear it with lolita as the piercing isn't half a year old, but I imagine it being a little more delicate and mixing it with gold accessories, it could look nice.
I want to buy more pretty gold ones, but they are expensive as FUCK, will wait for the full year before I buy another piece.
Hey, it's okay anon! I know deep seated insecurities when I read them.
I know that every time you see some terrible harlot with some alternative body modification that the Good Book deems unnatural you probably clutch your pearls and just get so gosh darn angry!! Jesus did not die for these lolita sins!
But again, we're all allowed to find things either desirable and undesirable, so it's cool. Just don't spit at the ground all dainty at me next time we pass by each other — theses shoes are motherfucking Fluevogs.
I have piercings too, but let's not turn this into a piercing debate thread. Let it go.
how many times a month are we going to have this piercing wank?
Gyaru looks so nice on non asian people.
This Indian girl.
I like her older outfits a lot.
<3 love this girl.
I have some strangely toned/notexactlywhite,whitegirls/ saved if you guys want that.
Does anyone know where this girl is from?
b r e a d
And one of the only non-lolita things I have.
last one I think
wait no this one too.
This girl has a really interesting face imo~
is it just me but i feel like when anyone says "asian" Most people think East asian or south east asian.
I know indians and those areas are techinically asian but idk...I feel like majority of people don't think of them when "asian" is said,... am i being racist? or a weeb?
why Mio Babylove stopped being decora? It was so suddenly! The same goes for her friend Pinky tralala...
Literalyl had to explain to someone the other day that Asian means more than just Japan, Korea and China... although he also thought that Korea was a city in China
>my friend is dating him
