Just got a packagem from Taobao. First time ordering so I made a small order just to try it out.

Used a shopping service (Can't remember which and can't find any e-mails or receipts now) and had a overall good experience. Sadly my package got taxed by customs and I paid in fees almost what I originally paid for the order, so it wasn't a good deal.

Bought a Mako (Kil la Kill) wig, it looks exactly like the picture and it's quite soft and pretty looking. Will barely have to style it. The downside is that it sheds A LOT, I have hair all over my self and my room. But I guess it was worth it for the price.

The gudetama toy thingies are adorable and I'm so in love with them. Good quality and well made.

Now... I bought Hajime's hairpin not expecting much since it was dirty cheap, but holy shit didn't expect it to arrive with the pin glued to the wrong side. Luckily it was glued with hot glue so I'll be able to fix it, but omg how can you screw up so badly?


I'm not fully satisfied with everything since I'm bit upset it ended up being so expensive.

It's not arrived yet, but I usually find the measurements fairly accurate from Boz. The lack of waist measurements on the shop annoying. The thing with their ladies Roland sizing is that the waist on them is usually around 65cm, so I have to go for the men's size. My long length Roland that I already have does feel a smidge smaller than my regular length one. Fortunately, the shoulders aren't that broad on even the mens' size Roland.

It's a normal white controller, with the buttons and such swapped out. The left joystick was wobbly so I wanted to replace it and ended up going a lil crazy and buying other parts. I'm replacing the green LED and the d-pad eventually.

You'll need a special screwdriver to open it. I got this one, but it did take a while to arrive.

Then it’s just a matter of unscrewing all the obvious screws on the bottom of the controller, but there’s one extra screw hidden under the Serial# sticker inside the battery compartment, so you’ll have to peel the sticker off.

The two halves will pop apart easily, though the rumble thingies aren’t held in place so you want to be sure you’re not rough and pull it apart slowly so you don’t and sever the wires accidentally. Both halves should be laid with the inside facing up.

All the old buttons slide right out. The replacements have little tabs on the bottom to hold them in place and distinguish which buttons go where. You might need to file a tiny, rough plastic nub off the bottom of the ABXY buttons from where they were cut from their mold, just don’t file down the actual tabs (only my Y button had this problem but the rest were fine).

The joysticks you’ll need to turn until the rectangular shape on the inner sticks lines up. Once everything is in place, there’s this rubber piece that serves as the inner buttons for the entire ABXY and middle buttons that you’ll need to put back in place on the top half, and if your L1 and R1 button panel popped off while opening, you’ll need to put that back in place (there’s two pins that go in holes).

Hold the rumbley bits in place on the bottom half and pop it back into place on the upper half (your controller will be held upside down or else the buttons will fall out). You might need to carefully adjust some things to get it to all fit together, but it’ll snap into place, then just put the middle screw back in, test it, and if everything’s in working order, finish the other screws.

Also it's worth browsing around Ebay/Aliexpress/Amazon for different parts. You can mod literally everything and there's so many options.

I am getting worried. I bought something from yahoo auctions japan through buyee and it was shipped for the US on December 29th. On January 9th, it showed that it arrived at JFK airport. It is now the 20th and I have heard nothing. My friend suggests it may be stuck in customs, but I have had dresses stuck in customs before and I was notified. I am worried that it's lost in the mail now. This makes me upset, because it was one of my dream dresses. I don' t know if I should file a claim, or wait it out some more.

I bought this off Amazon for $35 from some random brand called ecosusi, I'm guessing perhaps taobao has these or something like these for cheaper but I have prime trial and wanted the 2 day shipping. Just got the wig today and while the quality is great, it's a bit darker than I hoped. Rather than a warm vanilla feeling blonde it's a light cocoa brown. It's supposed to happen more often than it does, but the cost of admin on charging customs on every package that should have a fee is greater than the income of said fees.

I got charged customs fees on a $250 dress from Baby a few years back. Blew my mind, since I had a $1200 taobao GO arrive the same day I got the customs payment request form from my mailman.

Can someone shine a light on this? Why the hell my package went to Germany (Alemanha)?

Weirdly enough when I try to track on my post office tracking service it shows only it got posted on Germany and it's coming here.

On Ebay there wasn't too much of a bidding war which was lucky. They pop up sometimes on Ebay or YJA in small to average sizes less often for larger sizes.I believe they run slightly large. I've tried on a friends pair a couple of years ago and they were a good fit. I take the largest size in Melissa shoes but some styles are too small.
